Alice's body stiffened. She looked at Rosalie, Jensen's mother, who seemed to have shown up with ill intent.
Grace's body turned rigid as well and she could sense the tension in Alice's body. She let out a surreptitious sigh.
Speak of the devil, and he will come.
Rosalie had come prepared this time.
Heinz smiled gently, but there was a sharp look in his eyes. He said in a low voice, "Aunt Brooks, these are some troubled times in the family lately. Why didn't you call in advance?"
"Heinz, wouldn't have to call you in advance before coming here make it seem like I'm a stranger?" Rosalie was also impolite. "Since you're all back, you two sisters don't have to avoid me anymore. Let's have a talk."
When Grace heard what she said, it seemed like she wanted to lay everything out.
Alice nervously held Grace's arm and was incredibly scared.
Grace quietly reached out and stroked Alice's hand. She didn't expect Alice to be affected till the point of being fearful.
Heinz furrowed his eyebrows and said with a deep smile, "Yes, you're certainly not a stranger, Aunt Brooks. It's right to treat this place as your own home. It's just that my wife is pregnant, so she has to rest, and shouldn't get involved in anything. Alice, hurry up and take your sister back to her room to rest."
Heinz didn't give Rosalie any chance to speak at all. He ordered Alice and Grace to leave immediately in a strong and overbearing manner.
Grace understood what he meant, nodded slightly at Rosalie, and took Alice to the back door.
Rosalie opened her mouth and looked at Heinz in surprise. "Grace... Grace is pregnant?"
"Yes." Heinz walked over to Rosalie with a faint smile on his face and a hint of pride in his eyes. "Aunt Brooks, please come in. Butler, have you served tea yet?"
"Sir, I served tea to Mrs. Charm a while ago. I'll serve you tea again right away." The butler immediately ordered the staff to serve Rosalie and Heinz a cup of tea.
Rosalie's expression was very stiff. She hadn't thought that Grace would actually be pregnant. She had come at a very bad time.
She initially wanted to pay a visit to humiliate Alice. Even if she could not separate Jensen and Alice, at least she could make Alice feel bad. Unexpectedly, after coming here, she found out that Grace was pregnant, and Heinz had openly sent Alice away.
They did not give her the chance to speak at all. Rosalie's expression sank and she took a seat on the sofa.
Heinz saw Rosalie's face and sat down calmly. He smiled slightly and said, "Aunt Brooks, are you here to wish our relationships well?"
Rosalie's expression became even more awkward, and she wanted to say something.
