True Fated Marriage novel Chapter 921

"Actually, when I went to see the children today, I bought some toys for my grandsons. One of the children said a lot of things when he saw me for the first time. He asked a lot of questions and refused to call me grandpa. They were two very smart little boys. Then, I felt a little embarrassed, so Grace spoke to me and told me not to ignore your feelings. I told her that you are a generous woman."

"But she said no woman would like her husband having a daughter appear like this out of thin air, and that no woman could accept that."

"But I told her that you were not an ordinary woman. I told her that you are a generous, tolerant, and smart woman."

As Timothy said that, his wise gaze kept falling on his Quinn's face to pick up on the changes in her emotions.

She also stared at him. There were not too many emotions on her face, and she still had a generous and proper smile on her face.

"Timothy, hearing you describe Grace so nicely like that, I want to see this daughter of yours now.

She's such a considerate and understanding child. She's kind-hearted and knows how to put herself in other people's shoes. She has completely inherited all of your kind qualities. That's great. I'm very touched," she said seriously.

As she spoke, she blinked her eyes, and a moist mist fogged up.

Seeing that Quinn was so moved, Timothy immediately poured a cup of tea and handed it to her. "My daughter is wonderful, and so are you."

She took it and smiled warmly. "Timothy, since she is your daughter, she has no connection to the Smith family, right? Why do you call her Grace Smith? You should call her by your surname."

When Timothy heard this, he felt a sudden tightness in his heart.

He sighed and said, "She was born in the Smith family, and she's always been Anderson's daughter on the surface. Of course, I want her to change her surname to Yarbrough, but I can't say it. After all, I haven't raised this child for even a day, so how can I ask her to change her surname?"

Quinn nodded. "That's reasonable. It's true that you haven't raised her for even a day, so you can't say anything. How about when the time comes, I'll be the one to say it?"

He was stunned and looked at her.

She smiled and said, "If you can't open your mouth, I'll do it. I hope she can change her surname to Yarbrough. She's your daughter, so we should take her back, don't you think?"

"She is married," he continued. "She's not a single woman anymore. She is an adult now. Don't mention this request again."

He shook his head at the thought of Grace's hardships.

"Grace has had it hard in this life of hers. I can't make things more difficult for her. I shouldn't make any requests. I can only compensate her, not ask her to do something for me. It doesn't matter if her surname is Yarbrough or not. The fact that she's doing well is better than anything else."

Hearing his words, she nodded, looked down and didn't say anything else.

Timothy poured some more tea for himself and asked, "Where are our sons? Are they both asleep?"

"They're asleep. Their high school classes are very intense. I told them to go to bed at 10 o'clock since they have to go to school early tomorrow morning. You should keep your voice down when you go upstairs and take a bath. Don't disturb the children," she reminded him.

"Okay." He nodded. "By the way, do the children know that they have an older sister?"

She was stunned and immediately shook her head. "I don't know. I didn't tell them. I was afraid that it would affect them, so I didn't say anything. I was thinking that when you came back, we could discuss it and find a suitable time to talk to the children."

Timothy had thought that Quinn would tell the children about this, so he didn't expect her to not bring it up.

There was a flash of hesitation in his eyes, and he looked at her for a while.
