Lawrence did not say a word. He just stood in front of Heinz. The emotion in his eyes gradually faded.
He could not say anything.
"Let's go." Heinz spoke again, with a domineering tone, that could not be refused. 'TH take you to the hospital."
Lawrence did not move.
Heinz then said, "You can't talk now. Even if you call your driver, you won't be able to ask him to come and fetch you. Furthermore, you are debt-ridden. You are also not a mute who at least knows sign language."
"What can you do now that you suddenly became mute? I think it's best that you follow me to the hospital. I will not laugh at you."
Lawrence shook his head.
When Heinz saw that his father did not say anything, he immediately said to his bodyguards, "Alex, can you please find a way to get this old man into the car? I don't care what you do. I want you to get him to the hospital."
"You got it!" Alex immediately accepted the order and commanded his men to drag Lawrence into the car.
Lawrence soon ended up in the car.
The car left without trouble.
Lawrence's face was full of protest, but he still could not move because he had been sandwiched between two bodyguards. He could only silently follow them into the hospital.
As soon as Heinz met with the doctor whom he made an appointment with, he said, "I've explained the details to you just now. This is my father, Lawrence Jones. I hope you can find a way to restore his speech as soon as possible."
"Mr. Jones, I told you over the phone that this sudden loss of speech might be for the short term or the long term. It might take a while. Judging by the looks of things, it seems like he was triggered pretty badly. We need to think of a way in order for him to overcome this barrier."
Heinz nodded.
"I understand. That is why you should do your best to treat him."
The doctor nodded and said, "You can be rest assured that we will try our best to treat Mr. Jones. We want him to recover from this as soon as possible."
Heinz nodded and left.
The doctorthen began treating Lawrence.
Heinz waited outside the room.
Alex waited with him. Heinz's brows were knitted into a frown and his face was full of annoyance.
Alex could tell that President Jones was really anxious.
"Don't worry," Alex said.
Heinz raised his eyebrows and looked at Alex. He suddenly panicked.
"President Jones!"
"Alex, can you think carefully about what actually happened just now? I don't remember anything happening to Candace this afternoon. I refuse to believe that she suddenly had the intention of committing suicide. If she did, she would have made preparations beforehand. Did you personally search the entire room?"
Alex thought about it carefully. Suddenly, his eyes were filled with some doubt. "Something strange did happen. She asked me for some paper and a pen.
"Did she say what she wanted to write?" Heinz immediately asked.
"No. I asked her, but she refused to tell me. I gave her about ten pieces of paper." Alex said, "Was she planning to write a suicide note? Or did she want to write something else? She must have written something. It's just that we haven't managed to find what she wrote."
"Quickly find it!" Heinz said in a deep voice, "Call Lester and ask him to search carefully. Even if he has to turn the whole room upside down, I want him to find that letter for me."
