A week later, Ava was discharged from the hospital. Trevon and Natalie came to help. They only left after Ava and the others got into the car and left.
The Roberts family officially started raising children. Rose went to the Roberts family from time to time to see her nephew and niece, but they would all go home at night.
Ava needed sufficient rest just after giving birth, and Rose was considerate in this regard.
Joseph persuaded Daniel to stay in Athana for a bit longer before returning. After much discussion, and with Christina's advice, Daniel and Emma ultimately decided to return to Sapphire City two months later.
On weekends, Trevon and Natalie would come to the Roberts family to play and eat. The two children would slowly grow up, and there would be more supplementary classes. They would be busier.
The twins had already started learning the martial arts. Even Jasper had started lessons in mixed martial arts. Ruby had a gentle personality and chose music, chess, calligraphy, and painting. These were all classes that Ruby had requested to attend.
Whether it was Sherri or Hackett, they had never wanted to forcefully nurture their child into a young lady from a wealthy family. The couple's thoughts were surprisingly the same. As long as their little darling was happy, it was fine.
According to Hackett, even if Ruby was useless, he could still afford to support her because he didn't lack money. It was just a matter of selling a few more houses.
According to Trevon, having Ruby as a diligent and obedient daughter was the luckiest thing that ever happened to Hackett.
Natalie's two daughters were not interested in piano at all, but Olivia was quite interested in calligraphy and dancing, so she followed Ruby to class.
Every day, Sophia practiced either martial arts or marksmanship. Recently, she had become intrigued watching her brother practice mixed martial arts, and she had expressed her desire to join in. She had stuck to Trevon, hoping he would allow her to train alongside her brother. However, Trevon, despite having been indulgent with his daughter, remembered Theo's advice and had refused her request.
Furthermore, Trevon insisted that she master one thing before delving into another, advising her not to try to learn everything at once. Otherwise, he explained, she wouldn't become proficient in any of them.
Seeing that her father was unwilling to compromise, Sophia could only agree obediently. However, she did not give up. She said that once she mastered martial arts, she would definitely learn mixed martial arts, and she asked Trevon to promise that he wouldn't stop her.
Trevon and Sophia even made a pinky promise childishly.
One month later, on this weekend, the children were all gathered at the gym on the third floor of Grand Manor. Ruby and Olivia were practicing in the dance studio. Sophia and Liam were practicing martial arts, while Jasper was learning mixed martial arts.
Sherri was walking slowly on the treadmill. Hackett was pedaling. Trevon and Natalie were sparring on the stage. The two of them exchanged blows.
Seeing that Trevon was kicked by Natalie and was forced to take a few steps back, Hackett and Sherri stopped exercising and became interested.
The couple moved in unison. Each of them pulled a stool and sat down below the stage to watch the two of them fight. Hackett even went to the coffee table and grabbed a handful of peanuts. He fetched a trash bin and two bottles of drinks, preparing to enjoy peanuts while cheering as a cheerleader.
He stylishly tossed a peanut into his mouth, excitedly waving his arms. "Alright! Natalie, beat him up! Beat him up good!"
He shared two-thirds of the peanuts into Sherri's palm, saying, "You finish these, and I'll go get more. They taste pretty good. Natalie, don't hold back! Hit him hard! Really give it to him."
On the stage, Natalie kicked Trevon's shoulder blade again. Trevon was kicked back a few steps by Natalie. Hackett's noise made Natalie want to pull him up and beat him up.
Trevon turned around and glanced coldly at Hackett, who was watching. As he attacked Natalie, he said, "If you don't want us to fight you later, shut your mouth."
Hackett shrugged nonchalantly and peeled off peanut skins with his teeth, resembling a hamster. "Continue. I just want to make the atmosphere more exciting. I didn't even charge you."
Trevon rolled his eyes. "Thank you."
Hackett automatically blocked the other meaning in Trevon's words and replied, "You're welcome."
Hackett sat diagonally on the back of the chair with his legs crossed. "Natalie, Sophia is completely inherited from you. She likes martial arts, mixed martial arts, and marksmanship."
Sophia was almost like a boy. However, Hackett thought to himself. He wouldn't dare say that in front of Trevon, fearing he might actually be dragged into a beating.
Sherri retorted, "What do you know? She's a cool girl."
Hackett cursed in his heart. Indeed, Sophia was a cool girl. They had been practicing martial arts for a few days, and during the sparring sessions, his son lost to Trevon's daughter every day. At first, Hackett felt quite helpless.
But as his son continued to lose many times, Hackett stopped caring. In the end, even when his son won, it took him by surprise.
The two people on the stage fought for an hour and were drenched in sweat. Sherri handed a towel to Natalie. Natalie took it and wiped her face and neck. She panted and said, "Do you know what Sophia's dream is?"
When Trevon saw that Natalie was done wiping, he took the towel hanging around her neck and wiped his face and neck. The corners of his mouth curled up. Perhaps he had thought of his daughter's dream.
Hackett was eating peanuts and casually guessed. "To be a mixed martial arts coach?"
Natalie shook her head. They probably wouldn't be able to guess it even after a night.
Seeing Natalie shake her head, Sherri also started to be curious. She guessed according to Sophia's hobby. "A dance teacher or martial arts coach?"
Trevon, who was still smiling, answered with pride. "A soldier. A special forces soldier."
Both Hackett and Sherri were shocked. It was so amazing.
Sherri asked the main point. "But how did Sophia know about the special forces?" If no one told her, she probably wouldn't know.
