Twisted Ties of Love novel Chapter 216

"Don't worry, I'll always be with you until you feel familiar."

Despite saying this, Izabella wandered around the whole villa and still felt completely unfamiliar.

She felt like she didn't belong, as if she was a drop of grease staining the clothes or a rat suddenly breaking into someone's new home.

Losing her memory sometimes made her very sensitive, inferior and timid.

As Izabella went from the first floor to the bedroom on the second floor, she always felt that something was missing in the house. When she saw the wedding photo on the bedside, Izabella finally realized it.

This was supposed to be her and Brett's wedding house, so why were there so few wedding photos? Besides, the wedding photo on the bedside was clearly a casual shot taken by someone else.

Izabella asked, "Don't we have any wedding photos?"

Brett had already prepared his answer, "We got married in such a hurry that we didn't have time to take wedding photos. If you want, we can go do that another day, and we can have another wedding ceremony too."

Izabella wasn't necessarily insistent on having wedding photos; she just wanted to see some wedding photos and videos hoping to recall some things.

But none of that was available. She had no relatives, no friends, no knowledge of the past, not even a memory of something as important as her wedding. All she had was what Liam and Brett had told her.

Izabella just had amnesia, she was not a fool, she could clearly feel that they were bluffing her on some things.

They had been married for five years, and logically there should be feelings between them. But why, apart from a marriage certificate, could she not find any evidence of their marriage?

"Have you never loved me all these years we've been married?" She said calmly.

"You..." Did Izabella remember something? Brett's face suddenly turned pale, and his breath weakened.

Izabella muttered to herself, "Liam said that I was the one who pursued you. I guess you must have not liked me at the time. After all, the gap between us is too big, and we were like people who barely have anything in common."

Recalling something, Izabella became dejected and said despondently, "Did I use some dirty means to force you to marry me? So our marriage was so hurried, there were no wedding photos, and I can't feel the traces of us living in this new house."

"Did we sleep separately for the five years we've been married, just husband and wife in name when facing the public?"

Izabella was in a state of confusion, and as she threw out more questions, what was originally just suspicions felt more and more accurate, and she couldn't help but get sucked into it.

She didn't expect herself to be that awful, actually using dirty means to threaten Brett into marrying her. And her car accident probably happened when she tried to secretly follow Brett on a business trip.

Izabella had already imagined a melodramatic story, something like a whirlwind romance turned into a marriage.

Brett didn't know what kind of story had engulfed her, making her face change so much, frowning one moment and pursing her lips the next.

But it must be said that even after losing her memory, Izabella's perception was still strong. Although it was just a guess, 60% of it was correct.

They had indeed been husband and wife in name for the past few years, and there wasn't much of a deep emotional connection.

"Do you treat me so well now just because you feel guilty?" Izabella, who was suddenly lost in her self-constructed story and felt wronged, with red and moist eyes like a pitiful rabbit.
