Bernard thought Hera just wanted to accompany him to work for a day and wouldn't do the same the next day. However, she insisted on going to Shuttle Ventures with him until he got off work for the next four days.
At first, the employees there worked in fear. Then, they started getting curious. They wondered what was up with Bernard when he showed up at the company four days in a row. He even brought Hera with him!
Bernard was curious as well, wondering what she wanted. As he sat in his office for the past few days, she would just sit on the couch and watch him work.
Her beautiful eyes were staring at him at all times. At first, he thought it was romantic.
However, after being stared at for a while, he couldn't help feeling nervous. He wondered if he had accidentally revealed something and made her suspect him.
However, Harold said she didn't ask anything when she went to the company the other day. Instead, she just left after staying in the office for half an hour.
A lot could be done in half an hour. However, nothing was suspicious in Bernard's office. Even when the Killians sent someone over to watch him, they couldn't find anything at all.
However, Hera insisted on joining him for a few days in a row. That meant that she had found out something.
Bernard wondered what he should do. Should he continue to hide the truth from her? If she had found out about his identity herself, his confession wouldn't have been the same anymore. However, he didn't feel like telling her his real identity as well.
It wasn't that he didn't trust her. Instead, he would have to let Astral Nova know if he told her the truth. Then, he would be indirectly pulling her into the dangerous organization.
If something were to happen to him, everyone who knew his secret would be captured or brainwashed. They would remove every memory that had to do with Astral Nova so that the secret wouldn't be revealed.
As for those who knew about Astral Nova's secret and weren't reported to the organization, they would be killed through fake accidents.
