Wayne was helping out in the northern wing of Youngworth Miracle when he saw Everly returning with puffy eyes, an obvious sign that she had cried.
Worried, he asked, "Everly, what happened?"
Her lips pouted as soon as she met her brother. The tears she barely fought back began trickling down her cheeks again. "Wayne…"
The moment his dear sister cried, he panicked. "What happened? Tell me."
Everly had gone to look for Hera at the western wing of the clinic, but why did Everly return crying?
"Nothing. Hera didn't bully me." She quickly wiped her tears away before explaining, "She said something to me, and I believe she said it out of goodwill and nothing else."
Wayne instantly wore a solemn expression. "Of course, she said it out of goodwill. Even if she tells you off, you should repent and think if you've done anything wrong. Dr. Youngworth and Hera treat us so well. We must be grateful. Do you hear me?"
She bit her lip, wondering who was his sister. Hera or her?

Rhett returned to the Killian residence after work. In the living room, he asked Frederick, "Have you contacted Raven?"
"Nope, but we've found out a way to contact his assistant, Piglet. We're asking him to connect us to Raven," answered Frederick.
Rhett's brows furrowed, showing disapproval. "How inefficient."
"We need time. It's difficult to reach Raven," Frederick explained.
"Don't give me excuses!" Rhett chided.
Linda raised her voice. "Why are you lashing it out at your son? Freddy is doing his best. He wasted one day for punishment, remember?"
The sheer mention of the punishment triggered Rhett. Anger and jealousy churned in him.
That day, all Frederick did was tease Hera, and that was all it took for him to be punished! What about Bernard, who didn't show respect to his elders and said vulgar words?
