Aurora felt better after taking the medicine from Youngworth Miracle Clinic for three days. She reached three months of pregnancy, and her baby was healthy.
After taking her medicine, Aurora went to the western wing of the clinic to look for Hera. Aurora asked, "What video did you watch that day?"
Hera was still connecting the clues based on what Aurora told her. Noticing Aurora's arrival, she closed her notebook.
"Have they found the culprit who switched your medicine?" Hera questioned back instead of answering Aurora's question.
"Not yet. The investigation is still ongoing," informed Aurora.
She wanted to know the culprit as soon as possible, but Karen wouldn't allow a high-profile investigation. All they could do was to look into it secretively.
"You can ask me about the video after finding out who the culprit is." Hera was driving Aurora out.
Despite her displeasure, there was nothing that Aurora could do and so she left.
As soon as Aurora left, Hera quickly synced her findings with Leon over the phone. In conclusion, she couldn't afford to just wait for the Killians' investigation. She had to start looking into the case starting from the voice recording.
However, even after her numerous attempts, she couldn't restore the voice recording. She couldn't help but think of S. If he were her, would he have been able to restore it?
She shrugged off the question within seconds when she recalled that he prohibited her from investigating the Killians. He even banned her account for six months! She should be able to use it in the middle of the next month.
As an afterthought, she shifted her attention to Vulcan.
Hera had confronted him a few times before. Considering that he was Grandmaster of Astral Nova, he might be able to do it. There was only one question holding her back—was he a foe or a comrade?
At that moment, her phone rang, interrupting her train of thought.
It was Leon.
"Boss, Frederick contacted me not long ago. He said that Killian Corporation has plans to develop a chip and would like you to join them. He even requested a face-to-face appointment for discussion at 3:30 pm. Do you want to accept it?"
"What if it's a trap?" she asked.
