It was already 2:00 pm. Although Tyler wasn't impressed, he was starving. He began to eat the noodles.
After finishing them, he realized that he couldn't get enough of them. "Do you have more?"
Hera fell into a momentary silence. "No."
"This time doesn't count. Make me dinner tonight." He started to look through the ingredients online.
Ignoring him, Hera finished her meal and cleaned up the mess. She threw the packaging into the trash bin so that Tiramisu wouldn't eat it.
After placing an order, Tyler put down his phone and suddenly asked, "What's with Vulcan?"
"Do you now know who Vulcan is?" Hera questioned back dubiously.
Everyone on the Cyber Web talked about how Vulcan and S were rivals. Both of them had gone against each other online countless times and ended up in a tie.
Did they not know each other's true identity?
Tyler narrowed his eyes at Hera. Many people affiliated with Astral Nova were aware that Vulcan was the grandmaster, but his identity remained a mystery.
Ever since Hera attended the XS Corporation anniversary party, a lot of people—including Tyler—misunderstood that she was Vulcan as well as the grandmaster. It was because the USB flash drive she brought along that day had Vulcan's logo.
But Tyler dismissed that assumption right away. Hera was his mentee. Although they had never met each other before, he knew her skills very well. Her M.O. was different from Vulcan's.
Considering how she had Vulcan's USB flash drive with her, Tyler suspected the man by her side—Bernard.
"Vulcan is Bernard," Tyler pointed out confidently.
People around him kept comparing him with Bernard. His pride wouldn't allow him to lose against Bernard.
The reason Tyler joined Astral Nova was because Bernard joined the organization. To prove he was better than Bernard, he joined Astral Nova with his skills, but Bernard turned out to be the grandmaster.
Hera gave him a look in response, neither denying nor admitting it.
Hera decided to play dumb. She might not know the rules in Astral Nova, but the identity of the grandmaster had always been a mystery.
