It wasn't that easy to land a hit on Tyler, who had been to the army before. He and Bernard were closely matched back then.
Bernard successfully parried Bernard's fists and smiled. "Woah, woah, calm down, man."
"How can I calm down after what you've done to her?" growled Bernard as he swung another punch.
From the angle when he entered the place, he witnessed Tyler push Hera onto the table and kiss her!
Most importantly, she didn't push Tyler away!
Hera got up from the table and watched the duel take place from the dining hall to the living room. Their combat skills were exceptional. Every attack made was aimed at the other part's lethal spot.
The things in the living room were scattered. Even Tiramisu was shrinking itself at a corner.
They were adults and yet, they became all physical all of a sudden, acting like immature teens fighting each other.
Hera couldn't get in between them. When she thought about the sniper, she couldn't care less about the men anymore. "You guys proceed. I shall get going first."
She carried Tiramisu and turned around.
Bernard, who was in the middle of the fight, was enraged. Still, he cared about her.
He had an idea as he withdrew his arms.
Tyler noticed that something was off, but he couldn't withdraw the outstretched punch anymore! Bernard could've dodged that hit readily, but he didn't!
It landed on the corner of his lips.
The inertia pushed him onto a rack, causing the vases to fall and shatter on the ground.
Hera stopped in her tracks. She turned around only to see Bernard on the ground. Her heart wrenched. She quickly put Tiramisu down and ran to him. "Are you alright?"
Her concerned tone watered down Bernard's anger a little. Taking that hit from Tyler was worth it.
