Hera didn't move a muscle, and Bernard smiled at that.
"You're not going to him. Does that mean I'm more important than his life or death?" Bernard smiled proudly like a winner announcing his win.
Hera indifferently glanced at his hand, which was holding her wrist tightly.
Tyler couldn't take it anymore. "Stop your bullshit and let go of her hand. How can she come to me when you're holding her hand?"
"See? He's shouting fine, which means he's doing just fine," Bernard hurriedly said.
Hera and Tyler were equally speechless.
"Let's go." Bernard forcefully dragged Hera out. They rounded the scattered glass shards on the floor, and he called on Tiramisu.
From the strength of his grip, she could tell that he was angry. He was just putting on an act.
"This man has serious mood swings," she made a mental note.
He stuffed her into the front passenger seat before crashing her lips with his as though trying to leave his mark on her. It was so sudden that she had to crane her neck to accept his advances.
Moaning, she tried to push him away, but he punished her more severely instead.
A furious Hera bit his lips, causing him to groan in pain. He finally released her as he licked the corner of his lips.
"I'll cage you at home the next time another man touches you." Bernard's voice was hoarse.
Then, he flung the car door closed. Tiramisu caught up to them, and he opened the other car door to put it in the back seat.
Unable to comprehend the situation, Hera wanted to get out of the car. However, before she could do that, he got into the car and locked the door. He drove away.
Right then, her phone rang upon receiving a message from Tyler, "The man following you works for Bernard."
