Hera couldn't free herself from Tyler's grasp.
Since she left in a hurry, she didn't bring anything else other than her phone. If she had her stuff with her, he would've been stabbed a lot of times.
With him forcefully holding her shoulders, they walked out of the salon and headed to his car. It was only then did he release her.
There happened to be a herbal store nearby. She entered the place as he followed behind her, fearing that she might run away.
"Please give me an ounce of soapberry seed powder, two ounces of taro powder, a bottle of distilled water, and a bag of one-inch long silver needles," said Hera to the employee.
"Sure." The employee gave an odd look at Tyler's green hair before fetching the things Hera requested.
"What are they for?" Tyler didn't have a clue why she was buying those things.
"You'll find out soon." She then asked for the price, wanting to pay for them.
Tyler quickly took his wallet out. "I'll pay for them. Are these presents for meeting my parents?"
"You're overreading it." Hera paid for the items herself, ignoring him.
While Tyler was still taking out the notes from his wallet, she had already walked away. He quickly kept his wallet and followed her.
She hopped into the passenger seat, pouring the powders into the bottle of distilled water. After she shook it, it thickened into an invisible liquid.
Tyler was driving when she started to apply it over her body.
He asked curiously. "What is that?"
"Something that'll cause you to feel itchy."
He frowned slightly. "So, why are you applying that on your body?"
As soon as he finished speaking, she applied some onto her shoulders. It reminded him that he had hugged her shoulders before.
