Under the Heiress' Facade novel Chapter 629

Bernard fell silent.

After returning to the clinic and taking a shower at night, Hera got a message from Leon which read, "Boss, about what you asked me to look into, I actually found something."

He sent a picture. It was a comparison of two photos.

He added, "You wouldn't believe it. I was taken by surprise myself."

Hera tapped the picture to open it. Marcus was in both photos.

Leon knew Hera too well. Not only did he give her this picture to make comparisons, but he also sent her some information about Marcus.

Although Marcus was born into a family of physicians, he had little to no talent in honing his medical skills. He couldn't compare to Hera in the least.

So, to hide his incompetence, he never diagnosed or treated patients even though he was considered a staff of his family's hospital. The public was told that he was focused purely on researching and developing medical equipment.

Leon messaged Hera again, "It was Marcus—the Marcus Chime himself! Who would expect that a genius with an influential background like him would have such a horrible work ethic? He's even a well-known figure in the medical field in our country!

"We could make big bucks if we leak this information to the reporters."

Hera replied, "You could leak it if you want to. Doesn't your man know plenty of people working in the media? We'll split the profits—one to nine."

Leon responded, "Damian does have a big network, but you don't have to be so courteous around me. 50-50 would be good. We're buddies, aren't we?"

Hera cleared the air, saying, "You're getting 10%, and I'm getting 90%."

Leon replied with a curt "goodbye", and their conversation ended just like that.

As Hera quit the app, a thought came across her mind, and she opened her contacts to call Gino.

He was quick to answer the call. Thinking that she called to ask him if he had finished his task, he told her, "I haven't finished coding yet."

Hera ignored the statement. "Did you clear off all the Chime family's stocks?"
