There was a cry of alarm.
Before Tiffany could react, she felt a heavy object hit her leg, followed by her clothes getting soaked.
The entire bowl of soup had spilled all over her.
Kelly hurriedly brought a clean towel and began to wipe her clothes. "Are you alright, Tiffany? It's all my fault for being careless."
Tiffany took the towel. "I'm fine."
Although Kelly said it wasn't intentional, Tiffany felt that it was. There was plenty of space beside her, but Kelly chose to place the soup right beside her. How could it not be intentional?
Kelly also deliberately asked Teresa to stay and cook. She did it intentionally to let everyone see and embarrass her.
"Fortunately, the soup has cooled down a bit, so it's not too hot."
No one knew if Kelly was consoling herself or Tiffany.
Seeing Tiffany's soaked clothes, Kelly said, "Your clothes are all dirty. Let me take you upstairs to clean up."
Having a whole bowl of soup spilled on her was indeed terrible. It was greasy and there was a strong smell of vegetables. It was necessary to deal with it.
So Tiffany stood up and followed Kelly upstairs.
"You can clean up here while I get you a set of clothes."
Tiffany wanted to decline, but Kelly had already left.
She returned with a clean set of clothes a minute or two later. "I've put the clothes on top of the closet for you. Take off your dirty clothes and take a shower. I'll wash your clothes in the washing machine and have them dried for you. It'll be quick."
Tiffany looked at herself in the mirror. She couldn't go out in her current state. So she nodded in agreement.
After handing her clothes to Kelly, Tiffany closed the bathroom door and quickly took a shower.
