Tiffany was stunned by the word "fiancée".
She glanced at Patricia, who looked much younger than Alex. Her hair was braided into two plaits, and she was decked out in a brand-new sundress. She wasn't wearing any makeup, but her cheeks revealed her dimples when she smiled.
She was a stark contrast to the confident Mandy. Patricia was extremely reserved and didn't dare to make eye contact with anyone. She stuck close to Alex as though she was in need of his protection.
With a bitter smile, Mandy asked, "So, this is your type?"
She didn't understand why she had lost to an ugly little duckling.
Alex glanced at Mandy calmly, explaining, "Ms. Stewart, I'm not sure what I've done to cause this misunderstanding. If it's because of what happened at the Lewis residence, I'm sure I've apologized for that. I've got a fiancée, so I hope you won't continue causing me trouble."
Mandy bit her lip before asking, "Am I a burden to you?"
"Causing trouble for others doesn't make you a burden. It makes you a harasser," corrected Alex.
Hearing that, Mandy froze.
Unable to stand it anymore, Charles pushed Alex and questioned, "Can't you think before you speak? Just how has Mandy harassed you?"
"I'm sorry, Mr. Stewart," Alex apologized while looking down. Even so, he maintained his composure and stood firm as he continued, "Although my words sound harsh, they are the truth."
"You…" Charles couldn't do anything to him.
After all, Alex was Vincent's employee who had been working for him for so many years, and Charles had interacted with him multiple times too. If it were anyone else, Charles would've tied a bow on them and gifted them to Mandy.
However, Alex was an extremely rational person. If he didn't want to do it, kidnapping him wouldn't force him into obeying. In addition, he was engaged now. Charles couldn't tear the couple apart.
Charles pitied his sister, but he could only do his best to mollify her, "Don't be angry, Mandy. This kid doesn't know what's best for him. Is this your type? I'll find you another like him tomorrow! You'll definitely be satisfied!"
Mandy said nothing and merely looked at Alex and Patricia with tears in her eyes.
"Mr. Stewart, if there's nothing else you need from me, we'll take our leave now," Alex said. Taking Patricia's hand, he turned to leave.
