Will You Marry Me, My Ex-Wife? novel Chapter 1445

The night was still young.

Suddenly, the sound of screeching brakes echoed through the silent night.

Inside Tea Cottage, Bonnie, who had been sitting in the living room, furrowed her brows and stormed out the door after putting on her coat.

The person who had gotten out of the parked car was Jim, dressed entirely in black. His expression was dark and more severe than usual.

Bonnie stared at him, frowning. "You-"

Jim strode toward the house so anxiously that he ignored Bonnie entirely. He circled past her and burst through the door, "buna!"

He had zipped past her so quickly that Bonnie's brows furrowed instinctively. She quickly chased after him and said, "It's already late now. Luna has already gone to sleep. What are you doing, looking for her? You can’t go upstairs now; she’s sleeping. What are you planning to do to her?"

However, her words were of no use at all.

Jim stormed up the stairs and knocked on Luna's door. "Luna!"

Luna, who had already gone to bed, opened her eyes when she heard the sound of a man's voice outside

her door. She sat up, clutching her covers, and called out, "Who is it?"

"It's Jim Landry." Jim frowned in frustration. "Come out; there's something urgent I need you for!"

Luna had already had a bad impression of the Landry family, and on top of that, Jim had barged into Tea Cottage to knock on her door so late at night and even demanded her to come out so impatiently.

Luna furrowed her brows and had no intention of opening her door at all. "Master Landry, what's so urgent that requires you to come find me in the middle of the night?”

Seeing that Luna was hesitating, Jim narrowed his eyes and took a step back.
