Will You Marry Me, My Ex-Wife? novel Chapter 1446

As soon as she finished her sentence, Luna disappeared from view, carted away by Jim out the door.

Bonnie leaned against the wall in pain. She bit her lip and watched them leave, an indescribable feeling of hurt in her heart.

What did she expect? After all, Jim was a part of the Landry family, the family renowned for their cruelty and heartlessness.

How could he possibly have fallen for an ordinary girl like her?

If he were to fall for someone, it would be a woman like Luna instead.

Bonnie had been so brainwashed by Harvey that she truly thought she and Jim had something going on between them.

After a moment, she took in a deep breath, took out her phone, and dialed Joshua’s number.

The call was soon picked up.

Bonnie let out an exhale and said, "Joshua, Jim had barged into Tea Cottage and took Luna away."

Joshua immediately furrowed his brows and said in a cold voice, "Who...did you say took Luna away?"

"Jim Landry, the master of the Landry family.” Bonnie gazed in the direction Jim had left and tried to stop her tears from falling. "I hadn't noticed that Jim liked Luna as well...so when he appeared tonight, neither I nor my bodyguards and servants had seen it coming.

"He kicked open Luna's door and took her away, carrying her on his shoulder. They left in the direction of the city center. I...I can't help you anymore."

With that, she hung up the phone.

Her phone slid out of her hand and landed on the rug.

Bonnie clutched her face, unable to stop her tears from falling.

She should have known...

Nothing good would ever happen to a failure like her.
