"Everywhere, of course. Every corner that the superiors might check!"
Jackson pointed at the weeds around him.
"Are they going to inspect the factory next Monday?"
"Yes!"
"Am I going to clean this place all by myself? What about you?"
Coralie Chariott nearly lost her temper. She wasn't trying to shrug off any work, but Uncle Victor had just said that the factory had not operated for the longest time, and people in charge would rarely come.
However, an inspection sprung up just after she reported for work. It was completely unfair.
"Me? I'm the managing chief here. You couldn't possibly count on me to clean this place. could you?" Jackson then around at the factory. He felt an inexplicable chill brushing past his skin before heading back to his car, "It's really cold."
It was November.
The temperature was low.
"Jackson, I could only clean up so much in such a short time. I couldn't possibly clean this whole place up alone before next Monday. I bet even five people wouldn't be able to clean up the whole factory here."
Coralie was just stating the truth.
Jackson retorted, "I don't care. If you don't do your work well, you will get fired."
After that, he stepped on the gas and disappeared.
Coralie heaved a long sigh.
She ran to Uncle Victor, who was guarding the factory at the reception area, and told him what happened just now. Then she asked, "Did the staff get fired in this way all the time?"
After all, she was unfairly asked to clean up the whole factory in a week. Instead of getting fired after working hard, it would be better to do nothing and wait for her turn to be laid off.
"I don't know. There hasn't been anyone here for a long time."
Uncle Victor shook his head.
Coralie had no choice but to walk around the whole factory alone. It was enormous, perhaps even larger than the factory in Forest Paper Company.
She thought for a moment. Although she didn't plan to scrub the factory shiny, she still cleaned the office.
After that, she made a cup of tea and settled comfortably in the office. Then, she looked at her mobile phone, wondering if she should send a message to Skylar.
At this moment, a notification suddenly popped up on her mobile phone.
"New progress in Skyton Corporation's President's smuggle case."
Coralie clicked on it. The article clearly stated that the corpses found weren't of babies, but of monkeys.
There were also many comments on the matter.
Most of them had guessed that Skylar Holland had been framed.
Coralie breathed a sigh of relief and quickly picked up her mobile phone to call Wayne Holland, hoping that he would deliver food to Skylar, who was still in the hospital.
After all, Skylar had gotten injured because of her.
......
At this moment, Hector Rae had caught wind of the news.
Valerie Rae was not at work as her injury had yet to heal after hurting herself a few days ago. She would only commute between the hospital and her home.
Valerie was watching the television when Hector got home.
"Dad, have you seen the news yet?"
She sprung up happily the moment she saw Hector.
After all, her father had called off the engagement because of Skylar's alleged misconduct. Now that Skylar had been proven to be innocent, Valerie was ecstatic.
"That's enough."
Hector put down his bag and made his way to the study.
