She continued, "You know that Yohan was an introvert when he was young. After he came to our house, Sebastian and Dylan always bullied him but he had never told anyone about it. Lydia cried as she choked, "I was the one to be blamed. I am the one who made Yohan end up like this. If I did not come here, things could have been different."

"Auntie Lydia..."

Coralie frowned. She figured out that Yohan's behavior and temperament must be closely related to his experience in the Watson family.

However, as far as she could remember, Yohan used to be a timid person. He wouldn't be brave enough to murder a person...

"Coralie, I know that Yohan had forced you to stay with him. I'm also aware of your relationship with the Holland family. But look, Skylar can still have a good life without you. You have seen Yohan's condition. He is determined to be with you and no one else."

Lydia sobbed as she talked to Coralie.

"I understand, Auntie Lydia. I'll talk to Yohan. He will go tomorrow."

Coralie wished to leave the room immediately.

She didn't want to talk about that with Lydia. Although Coralie knew that she would never get back together with Skylar in her life, when Lydia mentioned Skylar, Coralie's heart could not help but ache as if someone was pinching her heart.

Coralie's hand, which was holding the doorknob, froze. "Auntie Lydia, don't worry. I have never thought of leaving Yohan."

After that, she went back to the room.

Coralie told Yohan that Lydia insisted on him visiting the graveyard the next day. Out of the norm, Yohan didn't make any objections.

Coralie was relieved. After visiting Sebastian's grave the next day, the whole family returned home. When they had lunch together, Yohan suddenly stood up and stated, "What an auspicious day today is. I have an announcement to make."

All of them looked at Yohan instantly. Even the servants' expressions changed at once.

It was Sebastian's death anniversary, but Yohan said that it was an auspicious day.

Yohan ignored them as he continued, "I will be having a wedding with Coralie after a month."

Coralie was sitting beside him. After hearing Yohan's words, the cutlery on Coralie's hand nearly slipped off. She quickly stood up and nudged Yohan. "We will talk about this on another day."

"Why the delay? Today is the day when I regain the joy in my life again."

The hideous grin on Yohan's face was terrifying.

Usually, Yohan and Coralie would eat in a small restaurant. They had never eaten together with Lydia, Mr. Watson, and Dylan. It was a rare occasion for them to have a meal together, but Yohan was determined to ruin the mood.

"Alright, sit down!"

Mr. Watson was clearly upset.

"Ok, please do come, everyone."

Yohan then sat down with a smile.

Coralie was so embarrassed that she wanted to dig a hole and hide herself inside. She had no idea why Yohan did that.

They finished the meal in an awkward silence before Coralie and Yohan went back to their rooms respectively. On the way, she couldn't help asking, "Why did you choose to announce it today? It is your eldest brother's..."

"He's not my eldest brother."

Before Coralie finished speaking, Yohan interrupted her.

"But..."

"Do you know why I said that today is the day I regain the joy in my life?" Yohan walked to Coralie and sat down next to her. He held her hand and added, "Because before Sebastian died, I had been living a life worse than a prisoner."

"Did he... bully you?"

That line made Coralie aware that Yohan must have experienced something awful back then.
