"Yohan, please don't talk anymore. I beg you," Coralie pleaded.
She almost tore off the whole of her dress lining and was hugging Yohan tightly, especially at the part that was bleeding. She wasn't sure if she was doing it correctly, but that was the only thing that she could do.
She realized that even though Yohan had done so many things in the past, she still couldn't bear to watch him die.
Maybe he had been bleeding way too much or maybe Coralie's bandage was effective, but the blood wasn't dripping down anymore.
"Actually, I regret that I came late. After I investigated you, I found out that your ex-husband cheated on you. I was wondering if everything would be different if I was the one you met at that time."
Yohan leaned forward on Coralie's shoulder and spoke slowly.
"Close your eyes and have a rest. I think we are not far away from the shore," Coralie replied.
She had no way of answering this hypothetical statement.
She stood up and saw the land. However, given the speed of both the hot air balloon and the wind, they might have to float around for a while longer.
However, the hot air balloon was getting closer and closer to the surface of the sea...
She wasn't sure why. Perhaps the wind wasn't strong enough.
Coralie looked up and saw the hot air balloon fluttering above them. The thermal equipment was still functioning.
"What's wrong?" Yohan asked.
Yohan realized that Coralie was just standing there without saying a word.
He barely managed to stand up. Obviously, Yohan realized that the height of the hot air balloon was getting lower as well. He took out the phone in his pocket and dialled a number.
However, no one answered the phone even after a long wait.
Yohan didn't give up, so he dialled another number.
His hands were shaking violently and his face got paler.
"Yohan, what's wrong?" Coralie asked.
Coralie held his hand and helped him hold on to his phone.
"Ha." Yohan kneeled down again, but every move was worsening his wound. In order to stop Coralie from worrying, he gritted his teeth and remained silent.
He said, "Corrie, I have something to send to you. It will definitely help you one day."
Yohan logged into the email using his phone and seemed to be sending something to Coralie.
Coralie didn't have her phone with her so she didn't know what he was sending her.
"What is it?" Coralie asked.
"It's another bad thing that I've done to you," Yohan replied.
"You..." Coralie said.
"I will never hurt you again." After sending the email, Yohan deleted both the sent mail and even the original copy. Then, he stood up and looked at the land in the distance. "Corrie, initially, there would be a speedboat which would pick us up to bring us to shore when the hot air balloon reaches this height."
He pointed to the shore nearby as he spoke.
Coralie saw that there were pink balloons on the shore, which was the sign of their wedding.
"So..."
Coralie seemed to have realized what he meant after he said that.
Currently, the hot air balloon would be approaching the surface of the sea in another 10 meters of distance. At this speed, they definitely couldn't reach the shore but would fall directly into the sea.
Yohan was injured, and she hadn't recovered from the side effects of the concussion yet. Forget swimming, it would be a challenge for her to even walk to the shore when they were on land.
"I'm sorry that I have done so many things which hurt you before." Yohan extended his arms and hugged Coralie. He almost lost all of his strength and could only barely hug her.
There was a hint of reluctance on his handsome face.
