"Call him?"

Coralie was puzzled. Skylar didn't even go upstairs yesterday. Wasn't it because he didn't want anyone else, even Wayne, to know about his condition? Why did he want to call him over now?

"Well, as his brother-in-law, I’m concerned about his future," Skylar said meaningfully.

"What?" She asked.

"Call him and invite him here. I'll send you the address later in the afternoon."

Skylar insisted.

Coralie didn't know what was in Skylar's mind, but since he had said it, she didn't object.

She went to make breakfast after that.

The fridge of the villa was already full of ingredients for one to prepare meals. Due to the time constraints, Coralie had only managed to make some pancakes and oatmeal.

When Skylar's work was almost done, Coralie filled a big plate with his breakfast and brought it over to him.

"A breakfast made with love for you."

Coralie said with a smile.

In fact, she hoped that when Skylar's legs were recovered, she could bring Hendric over too. It was the best for all the family members to be together.

When Coralie went to work during the day, she contacted Wayne and told him that Skylar asked for him to have dinner together.

That night, when Coralie got off work and took Skylar's car to the restaurant, Wayne was already waiting for them in the private room. Skylar booked the entire restaurant this time around too. "Have you ordered the dishes?"

Coralie asked.

"Well, you should order your favorite food first. There will be another person joining us later."

Skylar only said that someone else was coming, but he didn't say who would be coming.

"Another person is coming?" Coralie confirmed.

"Who?" Wayne asked. He was even nervous since he had already changed his work clothes and came over in a casual suit jacket after he got off work.

"You'll know in a while."

Everyone had ordered the dishes. When all the dishes were served, the person still hadn't shown up yet.

"Maybe the person doesn't know the place? Do you need me to go out and pick him up?"

Coralie felt that this person was definitely not ordinary because that person even dared to be late to a dinner with Skylar.

If they weren’t an ordinary person, would she need to go and pick them up as a sign of courtesy?

"She should be arriving soon," he said.

Coralie looked in the direction of the voice and found that the person standing at the door was actually Jamie, dressed in a down jacket, shorts, and long boots!
