Jamie stretched out her arms to ask for a hug. Queenie then gave her a hug and stood up immediately after. "You're too reckless. I was so worried about you!"

"Mom, I know I was wrong. Please forgive me." Jamie looked at Queenie with pleading eyes.

Queenie had no choice but to say, "Fine, I'll forgive you this time, but there will not be a next."

"Thank you, mom! Give me a kiss!"

Jamie spoke mischievously with her eyes blinking as she laid in bed.

Wayne was watching from behind in a daze; he had never seen Jamie acting like this. Jamie had always done whatever she wanted to. If others disagree with her, she would force others to agree with her in an unpleasant way. There was no need for her to speak in such a coquettish way.

"Look at you!"

Seeing Jamie act that way, Queenie's immediately broke into a smile.
