In fact, Coralie would rather Skylar be an ordinary person.

"Alright, send me the address. I have to prepare for the interview tomorrow."

Coralie knew that Xenia would not comprehend her thoughts.

"Sure."

Xenia sent her friend's company address to Coralie through WhatsApp. Coralie took a look at it and found that it was not far from her and Skylar's new home.

However, as their new home was not yet furnished with furniture, they stayed temporarily in Golden Town.

"Okay. If I pass the interview successfully, I will treat you to a meal!"

Coralie glanced at the address, planning to stay up late to brush up on her skills.

"Okay, I want spicy food!"

"No problem!" Coralie smiled.

Spicy food was definitely Coralie and Xenia's favorite when they met up.

Before Coralie went home, she went to the bookstore, grabbing a dictionary and two related books. She wanted to improve her skills.

As Xenia was the one who introduced the job to her, Coralie felt that she must not embarrass her.

After Coralie returned home, she made dinner and waited for Skylar to come back.

When Skylar got home, he saw that Coralie was reading a thick book in the living room while she waited for him.

"What are you reading?"

Skylar went behind Coralie and noticed that she was reading a French book.

"Xenia introduced a part-time translation job to me. The interview is tomorrow morning."

Coralie briefly explained the job to Skylar.

"That's great. What time is the interview?"

Firstly, the job was introduced by Xenia. As it's a translation job, there's no need to deal with many people. As long as the translation is correct, everything would be fine. Most importantly, it was a part-time job.

In Skylar's opinion, it was a very suitable job for Coralie.

"At nine o'clock tomorrow morning. I'll go out with you."

"I'll send you."

Without waiting for Coralie to finish her words, Skylar interrupted.

"It's alright," Coralie wanted to reject out of reflex when she heard that Skylar was about to give her a ride.

With his fancy car, if he parked in front of the company, it would attract much-unwanted attention.

"I will," Skylar pulled her from the living room to the dining room. "The probability of you getting the job is 100%. I have to announce my sovereignty in advance."

Hearing Skylar's words, Coralie rolled her eyes instead and laughed, "I'm not a 20- year- old girl anymore and I'm even a mother. You are the only one who thinks highly of me."

As she spoke, she went to the kitchen to bring out the food that had been kept warm.

Skylar wanted to hire a housekeeper but Coralie had hoped to spend more time with him alone. Therefore, she always cooked for Skylar and herself.

The housekeepers only came in to clean up the house in the afternoon.

"That is because everyone knows that you are my wife. They naturally avoid you."

"Is that so?" Coralie smirked.

"Yeah."

Yohan and Franklin were great examples. Skylar believed that that was the reason.

"But, although you are my husband, there will be many more women who crush on you."

Coralie was not convinced.

"It proves that you are more charming. There are many women who want to get close to me, but I'm only looking at you. Doesn't it mean that you are more attractive compared to them?"

After they got married, Skylar's sweet-talking ability increased day by day.
