Although Coralie was angry, she could not lose her temper in front of Lillian. She could only force a smile. "It's okay."

"Auntie Ford, you always say that Miss Chariott is a bad person but look at how nice she is! She is not even angry although you were late for more than an hour. Don't make things hard for her."

After Valerie heard Coralie's words, she immediately took Lillian's hand and 'sincerely' said.

When Lillian heard this, she glanced at Valerie with a sad expression. She turned to Coralie, "Alas, Coralie, you and Skylar kept slandering Valerie behind her back, but she is speaking for you now. You are really different from her."

She had got over it. Why must she receive the blessings of Skylar's parents? If she had to go through such grievances to receive their blessings, then she would rather not accept it!

"Auntie Ford, don't be angry." When Valerie heard that Lilian still trusted her despite hearing the recordings, she became more confident. "Look, now you have exposed Miss Chariott's hypocritical face. Skylar will be here soon. She won't be able to pretend for long."
