Hearing what Jasper said, Amelia's hand, which was holding the phone, trembled. The corners of her mouth twitched and she asked rather unwillingly, "Jasper, what do you mean by this?"

"Auntie, take my words literally. Don't act like you don't understand. Things are the way they are and you've seen it too. Valerie's going to be imprisoned and her sentence will probably be more than a decade long. You can't expect me to wait for more than ten years to marry her, do you?"

Jasper's words were very clear- cut and realistic.
