"Is that so?"

Hogan was a little surprised while he heard this.

"Yes, the driver who caused the accident has been taken away by the police. So please advise them to understand the actual situation and talk things out."

Andie looked at the two ladies who were getting louder in the argument. It seemed like they were about to get into a physical fight, and he was growing more nervous by the second.

He was worried that there would be two more patients there if they started a fight.

Upon hearing this, Hogan hastily turned around and stopped his wife. "Forget it."

"Hogan? Xenia is your daughter, isn't she? She has been deceived by others to donate her liver, but they didn't even thank her in return!"

Lindsay was definitely not someone who was hard to deal with, but Laura's and Rudolph's attitudes were making her furious. Even though she didn't quite understand the impact of losing the liver lobe, it was still an organ of the human body, hence both were equally important.

"Let's go and visit Xenia then."

Hogan grabbed Lindsay's hand and left.

Hogan and Lindsay only visited on the first day. After that, they arranged for a maid to take care of Xenia in her ward.

Three days after the wound was healed, Xenia could already get off her bed, as her situation was different than Harvey's. Right away, she grabbed a coat and headed over to Harvey's ward.

She entered his room and saw Harvey talking to the doctor who was standing beside him.

Xenia waited for a while and Harvey hadn't finished speaking yet, so she couldn't help but complain, "Such a workaholic."

It was only when she said this did the two men in the ward notice that there was a person standing behind them.

"Why did you get out of your bed? Did the doctor agree to this? It's only been a few days."

As soon as Harvey noticed that Xenia was there, he immediately grew anxious. He seemed to have forgotten about the fact that his condition was much more severe.

"The doctor said that it's fine." Xenia walked over to Harvey's bed and sat down as she tilted her head. The doctor whom Harvey was talking to just now quickly grabbed his things and left the room to the two of them.

"Are you sure the doctor has said that it's fine? It's only been three days. It's best to get out of bed after at least three to seven days. You can't be doing this."

Harvey's nagging just wouldn't stop. In fact, he would only advise a little and would not care much if it was another patient. However, he couldn't seem to be at ease if it was Xenia.

"Is there anything else?"

Xenia sat even closer to Harvey and asked.

"You should be cautious about..."

"But I miss you."

Xenia said immediately, without waiting for Harvey to finish his sentence. After that, she leaned forward slightly and her thin lips pressed down lightly on Harvey's lips.

This unexpected kiss had caused Harvey, who was trying to lecture Xenia, to blush a little.

Harvey suggested as he supported himself with one arm and pulled the woman who was about to dodge with another. Without giving her a chance to escape, he pressed his lips against hers, extending this long-lost kiss.

This was totally out of Xenia's expectation, as Harvey had always been so gentle and tame. She was only stunned for a moment before she responded to the kiss by hooking her arms around Harvey's neck and kissing him deeply.

The ambience in the ward was getting flirty.

Just as everything was going smoothly, Harvey suddenly pushed Xenia away and said, "You should probably stop now."
