Pearl couldn't snatch her bag back due to his height, so she let out a resigned sigh. "Fine, you can give me a ride home. Just give me my bag back."

Silas wagged his finger teasingly. "No way, what if you try to escape once I return it to you?"

She walked away briskly, leaving Silas to follow her with a cheerful face since he had gotten what he wanted.
