A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 100

When the door was pushed open, I saw Edward in black.

He probably thought that I was asleep and walked towards me. When he wanted to reach out and touch me, I grabbed his wrist directly.

"Edward, I've said before, I don't want to see you." He was really not busy and came to me in the middle of the night.

"Ashley." Edward looked at me. Suddenly, he hugged me and called out my name in a low voice.

My body was suddenly hugged by him and I shivered. I bit my lips and looked coldly at him who was holding me tightly.

My face fell and I pushed his body hard. I growled, "Edward, what on earth do you want to do? Do you want me to die in front of you so that you won't pester me?"

"Don't marry William, Ashley." Edward held my face as his finger gently rubbed my face.

Feeling that his fingers were touching my face, I impatiently pushed his hand away.

He looked at me for a long time in a daze. He lowered his head and ignored my resistance. He kissed my lips and said in a low voice, "I'm sorry, Ashley."

I ignored his words. Just as I was about to kick him, he let go of me and left my room with a sad expression.

I touched my own lips and looked angrily at the door. I couldn't help but curse in a low voice, "You're insane."

I have never understood Edward. I didn't know what he wanted to do.

Obviously, he liked Betty so much, but why should he pester me?

I really didn't understand him at all.

I was discharged from the hospital a week later. During this time, I had not seen Edward.

My morning sickness was very obvious. I vomited every day. In the end, I lay in the villa and didn't want to go to work at all.

William accompanied me every day and cooked different kinds of food for me, but I couldn't eat anything. My body gradually became thinner and my physical condition was bad.

"Ashley, have some ginseng soup." William stewed a chicken with ginseng for me. I used to like it very much, but I really couldn't drink it.

William prepared food for me in different ways every day. I ate a little bit, and then all of it would be spit out.

I felt a little guilty to William. I wanted to eat the food he cooked for me, but I couldn't.

"William, I can't eat anymore." I shook my head, touched my belly, and said weakly.

Recently, I not only vomited badly but also felt weak. In addition, all I wanted was to sleep.

"You can drink a little. I don't want you to drink too much." William coaxed me. I had no choice but to force myself and drink all the chicken soup.

After drinking, I looked at the smile on his face and said feebly, "William, I want to sleep."

"Okay, have a rest. I'll go to the supermarket to buy some food."

"Okay." I nodded, and after watching him leave, I closed my eyes and continued to sleep.

At half-past three in the afternoon, I felt much better because I had slept all day. I came downstairs and felt hungry for the first time.

I went to the kitchen and wanted to see if there was anything to eat, but the doorbell rang at this time.

I thought that William was back. When I opened the door, I unexpectedly saw Scott standing at the door.

The moment I saw her, I was really shocked.

I didn't expect that she would come to me. Was it for Mrs. Fang? Or...

"Miss Mu, I heard that you are in poor health recently, so I come to see you." She glanced at me and said to me with gentle eyes.

"Please come in, Mrs. Fang." I glanced at her and let her in.

Scott brought a bag of fresh fruits over. They were all planted by her farm and looked very delicious.

"Your face is very pale. What happened?" Scott asked with concern when she saw my pale face. I took a look at her and gently touched my belly. Then I shook my head and said, I'm fine. The weather is bad so I caught a cold."

"Is that so? Recently, the weather is getting colder and colder. It's better to be careful with your body."

"I will." I looked at her and said.

Then she talked about our daily

lives, and finally got down to business.

"Betty and Edward will get married next week. I heard that you and William will also get married on that day."

I would have almost forgotten about this if she didn't mention it. These days, because of my poor health, I almost forgot about the wedding of William and me.

"Yes." I took a look at Scott and waited for her to say something.

I wanted to know what she wanted to tell me.

"Miss Mu, in your heart, do you still love Edward?" Her expression became unusually serious as she looked at me and said.
