A Vengeful Bride novel Chapter 90

"Ashley, shut up!" Edward couldn't stand me insulting Betty, and he growled at me.

I heard his growl and sneered, "What? Can't you stand it anymore? Do you think I am insulting Betty? Edward, you are really hypocritical. You know what kind of person she is, but you blindly protect her. Don't cover up your inner hypocrisy with those words. It will only make me feel more disgusted."

I pushed his body away. Without looking at the expression on his face, I walked away without looking back.

I didn't know what was the expression on his face. All I knew was that after I left, he shouted something at my back sadly.

But I didn't listen carefully. I didn't know what he said.

The news of the marriage between Edward and Betty began to spread throughout Beijing.

Everyone knew that they were going to get married.

It was said that there was a chance for Betty to go to Hollywood. She was so lucky.

I looked at the news about them, sneered, and threw the newspaper aside.

Recently, my relationship with William had developed a lot. William was a very considerate man. At the very least, he was better than Edward. A week later, the reports of Betty and Edward gradually disappeared in newspapers.

I had made an appointment with William to select rings that day.

In order not to disappoint him, and to prove that I could completely forget Edward, I got up early to dress myself up. I wanted to select rings with him with my best look.

"You look very beautiful today." When William called me, I was applying lipstick.

After I got dressed, I went straight out of the room and came to the yard, only to see William standing outside my house.

When he saw me, he smiled gently and took out a bunch of roses from the car.

This was the first time I received roses from a man. He was romantic that I looked at him in surprise.

He stretched out his hand and affectionately ran his fingers through my hair.

"It's what I should do." William's words touched me.

I blinked my eyes and looked at him. Then I put the roses into the room, got into his car, and went to the jewelry store.

The jewelry store he took me to was the largest jewelry store in Beijing. There were many styles of jewelry there, basically limited edition.

Coincidentally, when we were selecting rings, we happened to see Betty and Edward.

When I saw them, I wanted to leave. But Betty saw me with her sharp eyes. "Are you here to pick the rings?" Betty took the lead and said to me with a smile.

I didn't even want to take a look at her who was hypocritical, so I had to answer hypocritically, "Aren't you also picking rings here?"

"Have you made your choice?" Betty looked at me thoughtfully and asked.

I didn't answer her question. I just looked at William who had been looking at me with gentle eyes and said, "William, I don't like the rings here. Let's go somewhere else."

"Okay." William did not say anything, but looked at me with doting eyes and said.

Upon hearing my words, Betty smiled and said in a tone of admiration, "You're really considerate to Miss Mu."

"Could it be that G.M.Xi is not considerate to you?" I said half-jokingly to Betty.

Betty's face was slightly stiff and she did not say anything. I did not want to get involved in her relationship with Edward.

I took William's hand and left the jewelry store. Fortunately, Betty did not say anything. Edward stared at William and me with deep and gloomy eyes. I could feel his gaze clearly after I left the store for a long time with William.

"If you don't want to get married so soon, I can find an excuse to postpone it." After walking out of the jewelry store, William held my hand and said solemnly to me.

He was always so considerate, which made me don't know how to treat him.

"No, we have agreed that we will get married on the seventh day of next month. Moreover, you are already preparing for it. How can we postpone it?" Although William did not tell me, I knew that he was already preparing for the wedding.

"You already know." William was seen through by me, and he looked at me with some embarrassment on his handsome face.

Looking at his face, I couldn't help but feel a little guilty.

William was such a man, a man that made my heart ache for him.

"Yes, I know. William, I'm sorry. I put you in a dilemma, right?"

"Silly girl, how come? I really want to give you a home." William held me gently in his arms, lowered his head, and kissed my forehead.
