A Touch of Sweetness novel (Finnick and Vivian) novel Chapter 2988

Why does she make it sound like I have never given her anything? I can't even recall the number of cards I have given her before this. But he shrugged the matter off as money was no issue to him. "I want you to behave yourself, okay? Don't get into a fight with Della!"

"Why don't you tell Della to stop picking on me instead? I won't make things difficult for her if she doesn't try anything silly." Finally, Jessica walked out of Larry's office.

Watching her leaving figure, a relieved smile crept up on his face.

Jessica was actually a relatively simple-minded woman. All it would take to appease her whenever she was angry was a random present. However, if she was truly upset, nothing he gave her would possibly cheer her up.

It was part of his plan to send her to guide Della, and he couldn't wait for the outcome of the meetup. Since both women were entrepreneurs and had similar life experiences, the chances of them collaborating in the near future were high.

Most importantly, it would be good for Della to have Jessica's guidance since Fred's condition was unforeseeable.

Marching into Della's office, Jessica announced the reason she was there, "Hey, Larry sent me here to answer your queries on his behalf."

Della replied courteously, "Hello, Larry informed me of your arrival. Thank you so much for your time."

Oh? Has she really turned over a new leaf? She has never been so courteous around us before! Is this merely another act of hers? Jessica started sizing the woman in front of her up.

Instantly, she kept her guard up. Who knows what this woman is up to this time?

Della went on to suggest, "Why don't you have a cup of tea? Thank you so much for coming here."

Oh, God! Since when did she become so considerate? Jessica took a few steps back with an awkward smile on her face while goosebumps formed all over her body.

Gazing at Jessica, Della opened up to her in a quivering voice, "You don't have to worry. I mean you no harm. I only asked you to come over because I need someone to answer my queries. Jessica, I'm sure you understand how I feel as a fellow woman. I'm horrified by the thought of my father leaving me."
