Eliza was satisfied with Rodney's expression.
There was nothing better than killing a person by torturing their heart.
Did Rodney not claim that Freya was evil? Now, she would let him know that his ex-wife had not done anything bad all along.
"Freya was just taking the blame for me."
Eliza swirled the glass of red wine in her hand. She was smiling, but her pretty eyes were void of warmth." Freya only knew that I kidnapped Sarah when it was almost morning. By the time she rushed over, I had severely injured Sarah. Freya knew that if I were caught, you would definitely kill me. However, she was different. She was your wife, the prime minister's goddaughter, and the mother of your child. Even if she got caught, you wouldn't kill her even though you were furious."
Rodney's expression was as cold as ice. He stared straight into Eliza's eyes. "Did Freya tell you to come and lie to me on purpose? She has found such a ridiculous excuse just because she wants to reconcile with me. Ha! Does she take me as a fool?" 1 "Ha! Freya wants to reconcile with you? You have
such wild fantasies.”
Eliza sneered. "Rodney, use your narrow mind and think about what kind of person Freya is. You two spent time together every day and slept in the same bed. Is she such a vicious and evil woman to you?
Please. She doesn't even dare to kill a fish. Would she b e capable of torturing Sarah to such a horrible state?"
"Enough. Stop lying for Freya." Rodney's hands were trembling. The hostility in his eyes looked as if he wanted to gobble Eliza up. "Please don’t cover up for her anymore. Catherine would be better at covering up for her than you. You said you were the one who did it. You don't even know Sarah. There are no grudges between the both of you-"
"Who told you that? That there are no grudges between Sarah and me?"
Eliza said coldly, "I desperately want to cut her up into thousands of pieces. Aunty Jennifer was a good friend of my mom before she married into the Neeson family. Charity used to be my best friend. However, both of them died because of Sarah. I hate her. If Freya hadn’t rushed over to stop me that day, I would've killed Sarah with my own hands. Why would I let that b*tch get away with her crimes until this very day?"
Looking at Rodney's utterly shocked expression, Eliza took a deep breath. "If you don't believe it, you can find out just by investigating them. I've crossed paths with Charity and her mother during my years of growing up. Moreover, what time did Freya leave The Lodge that morning? Did she have enough time to commit the crime?" she said with certainty.
In fact, Rodney was close to believing her completely.
