Freya's heart softened at the sight of Ryan's pitiful look. She quickly coaxed him, saying, "Don't worry. I don’t like foreign men."
"Who do you like then?" Ryan stared at her intently.
Freya's face turned red. "Enough. Don't you know who I like?"
Ryan said, "Uh-huh. I’m not sure."
"I'm going to ignore you."
Then, she hung up. However, she hesitated for a few seconds and sent a message coyly. [I love you the most.]
After she sent the message, her heart began to race.
It was her first time sending him such a straightforward message since they got into a relationship.
She covered her burning face and took a deep breath before returning to her seat.
"Frey, Tessa said you have a child," Sidney Cann from the research institute said. He took a bottle of beer and walked over with the collar of his black shirt unbuttoned. The unrestrained and dashing nature of a foreign's man was apparent in his movements.
"Yup." Freya was momentarily stunned, but she nodded honestly. However, she did not mention that she was divorced.
"Oh, really? What a pity." A look of despair washed over Sidney's face. He said frankly, "You look very young. I thought of going after you, but too bad. You're the prettiest Australian woman I've ever met."
"Sidney, let it go." His best friend guffawed and said, "A s you said, Frey is a pretty Australian woman.
Naturally, a lot of men are after her."
"Thank you for your interest in me, but all I can say is sorry."
