Chapter 37 She Has Been Kidnapped

Edison raised his hand high above his head. The video was still playing, and the snoring sounds from the video projected from the phone.

Gwenyth regretted letting her guards down last night. She should have locked the door. Of all things, she really didn't expect that Edison would sneak into her room in the middle of the night when she was suffering from heatstroke.

"Can you delete the video, please?" She stood on tiptoe, unable to reach Edison's hand.

"Are you begging me by your mouth?"

"Really?" The man lowered his arms and put the phone back in his pocket. He sat back on the sofa, crossed his legs, squinted his eyes, and looked into Gwenyth's eyes. "How much should you pay me for violating the contract, eh?"

Without saying a word, Gwenyth went into the kitchen, preparing him breakfast sullenly.

It has been raining all day long and stopped when the sky got dark. After dinner, Gwenyth wrapped Edison's plastered hands with plastic wrap. And while he was taking a shower, she secretly picked up his cell phone and wanted to delete the video he recorded.

She was surprised. For a narcissistic person like Edison, how come he didn't use his birthday as his password?
