Chapter 43 Edison Gets Angry

After answering the phone, Nancy excused herself to take a break from a headache and asked John to leave the recreation room.

John went back to the private booth, while Nancy went to the couples' room where Gwenyth was.

All four walls were pink. The floor was a plush white carpet. There was a big red heart-shaped soft bed against the wall. There were many special tools in a glass cabinet.

A rope dangled from the center of the ceiling, with a metal ring at the bottom end.

Nancy raised her arm to touch the metal ring.

"Should I get the bodyguards over here?" asked Estella.

Nancy pursed her lips and looked towards the heart-shaped bed.

Gwenyth was lying there. Her face was tilted sideways, just facing her.

Their eyes met.

Nancy wanted to laugh at the miserable look on Gwenyth's face. She covered her mouth with her hand and suppressed her laughter. "Miss Lovelace, you weren't expecting the surprise I had prepared for you, were you?"

Gwenyth was lying on the bed and couldn't move. She knew what Nancy had done.

However, all Gwenyth could do was stare at Nancy with her red eyes open.

"You have such scary eyes."

Nancy averted her gaze, walked over to the glass cabinet, and selected a long rope. This rope was made of the same material as the one hanging down from the ceiling.

"I'm just going to hang you up."

Nancy said, pulling open the glass cabinet door and taking out the long rope. Then, she gave the rope to the bodyguard and told him to tie Gwenyth up.

Gwenyth was like a lamb to slaughter. Her eyes were wide open. And tears ran out of her eyes and down her face.

Her arms were folded behind her back and tied. And the rope was long. The two bodyguards dragged her up and wrapped the rope tightly around her waist in a circle. Finally, they tied a dead-end knot.

"String her up."

Nancy sat down on the heart-shaped bed as if watching a show. She crossed her skinny legs and tilted her head, watching the bodyguard attach the rest of the rope to the metal ring and hoist Gwenyth high in the air.

At this point, Gwenyth's face was down, and her head was hanging low. Her body was hanging from the metal ring. As the bodyguard gently pushed her calves, she swung as if she were on a swing.

The rope was tightly strung around her stomach and held Gwenyth's weight. Although Gwenyth was hanging so high, and her abdomen was in pain, her whole body went so numb that she felt no pain at all.

"This is fun."

Seeing Gwenyth dangling in the air, Nancy clapped her hands.

"Nancy, hurry up! Eddie could find out she was gone at any moment." Estella warned Nancy with a frown.

"I know."

Nancy puckered her lips as she got up and pulled a leather whip out of the glass cabinet.

She then handed the whip to one of the bodyguards and said, "Whip her first! After that, you guys can have some fun with Miss Lovelace. Do whatever you want."

The bodyguard took the whip and was going to hit Gwenyth on the back, but he was afraid that if he hit her on the head, her brain would be damaged. Then, he went to the other side and swung the whip at Gwenyth's legs.

Then there was a crack.

Gwenyth's body suddenly trembled.

"Keep whipping."

Nancy sat back on the heart-shaped bed and looked at the miserable look on Gwenyth's face.

The moment the bodyguard tried to crack the whip a second time, the door to the room was kicked open with a mighty thud.

Edison's face was livid. He had an intimidating look on his face. Fire almost erupted from his dark eyes as he saw Gwenyth dangling in mid-air, tied up.

Nancy was terrified and quickly got up from the bed, ran to him, and tried to push him out of the room.

"Eddie, what are you doing here?"

"I... I was just playing a game with Miss Lovelace."

Edison was so angry that his shoulders were trembling slightly.

He hadn't come alone. He was followed by Issac and John.
