Bride Behind the Mask novel Chapter 310

The four of them, halted mid-way, exchanged bewildered glances.

The school's Dean of Students, Miss Trunchbull, was notoriously strict. Getting caught by her during the lunch break was a sure-fire way of losing points for the class!

At that moment, Miss Trunchbull wore a stern expression, her voice chilling as she demanded, "What on earth are you lot doing?"

Quick-thinking Teresa responded, "We just woke up from our nap and was going to the bathroom. The bathrooms in the main building are all occupied by the younger kids!"

"That's a lie! Ma’am, they were fighting! I saw it all!" Manley immediately dismissed Teresa's explanation.

Of course, Miss Trunchbull knew Manley was lying. If they had truly been fighting, would they be walking arm in arm?

However, her gaze landed on Hayes' face, and she suddenly remembered the call she had just received from both Hayes and Manley's mother.

The woman had mentioned Hayes' bad temper and eccentric behavior, insisting that she give him special attention. Ideally, she should seize the opportunity to call in his father for a meeting!

This request was unusual, but Miss Trunchbull agreed. After all, she knew better than to argue with money.

"All four of you, to my office!"

Punishing Hayes alone would be too obvious, so she decided to make it a group penalty.

As the leader of the Vine Whip Alliance, Teresa's sense of justice ran deep. She stepped forward bravely, "It has nothing to do with them! I'll go to your office!"

Miss Trunchbull looked at the little girl speechlessly.

Did she really think she could take the fall for Hayes? Not a chance!
