Bride Behind the Mask novel Chapter 735

He gently pinned her hands above her head, his lips seeking hers softly, tenderly.

And then, his hands started to wander, expertly finding the zipper at the back of her dress and pulling it down, his warm hands tracing paths on her skin.

Jack knew he was losing control.

In front of this woman, he couldn't keep himself in check.

They had known each other for three years, yet the closest they had gotten was kissing.

So, why not take it a step further?

Even though they had never really found the right titles for what they were to each other, did it really matter?

He was well aware of Emily's feelings, and his own heart was becoming clearer.

Unable to resist, Jack deepened the kiss, his movements growing more tender.

But Emily's mind was a whirlwind of confusion, drunk to the point of not knowing what was happening.

All she felt was an unbearable itchiness all over her body, and the weight on her was suffocating.

In the next moment, with a strength she didn't know she had, she managed to push Jack off and turned over, blindly grabbing a pillow and falling asleep almost immediately.

Jack, nearly tumbling off the bed, was stunned.

He sat there, motionless, watching her sleep soundly, looking completely innocent and helpless.

His desire quenched, he had no choice but to cool off with a shower.

When he returned, Emily was still sleeping in the same position, oblivious to what had transpired.

How could a woman who seemed so eager to take things further sleep so soundly?

The myth of drunken debauchery was clearly busted!

Shaking his head with a wry smile, Jack lay down beside her, and soon, he too fell into a deep, dreamless sleep.

The next morning, Emily woke up, groggy and disoriented.

She gasped in shock upon seeing Jack sitting on the couch at the foot of the bed, legs crossed, watching her intently.
