Call me Alpha (Aiden and Ashira) novel Chapter 49

Chapter 49: Stolen Mate

Nick’s POV

I watched Aiden and he is terrifying and deadly to look at right now. We just arrived at the Ancestral after taking care of Seth. Seth has almost died, and the pack doctor said that its thanks to what Z gave him, he survived death. Ava is now by Seth’s side so I left with Zeke but was met by this sight of Aiden.

Zynia told us about Ashira being taken by Elon and the probability that she will be stolen from Aiden from being his mate.

And from how I see Aiden right now, I don’t think its right to have a talk with him yet. I can feel that another war will come but far from the childish war Alpha Elon started.

I don’t think Aiden will go easy on him now.

“Nick, to the office, now.”

I watched Aiden stood up from where he was seated and I nodded slowly when his back has faced me. Damn, why am I having delayed response?

Oh, my tail’s tucked right now. Damn it.

There’s a dark aura which surrounds him and it feels like if I inhaled the same air he breathes, I will die.

‘His head must be messy right now.’ I thought as I followed to his office, gently closing the door when I entered the room. I know I have this habit to piss him off, but my head unconsciously adjusts depending to the situation. There’s no room for mistakes for now.

“Alpha Aiden.” I bowed slightly. He motioned for me to sit and I did. I must show I honor him though we are friends. Alphas tend to be aggressive when something is messing with their heads or if they are serious about something.

And Aiden is now both.

Aiden looked at me and his eyes are enough to deliver a message that he likes to kill. It’s turning red, too reddish that it made a black shade. It’s fucking scary.

“We will attack Ravenous tonight.” he proclaimed. “I don’t give a fuck if I need to wipe his pack off the map, I need to have my mate back.”

I gulped. If we are to attack Ravenous pack, they will surely be wiped.

I nodded, looking elsewhere to avoid his eyes because he is looking at me and it scares the shit out of me.

“Are you against it? No opinion that you think will balance mydecision?”

I looked at him with widened eyes. Did he just ask that?

He hates the balance but his responsible behavior always took him over. Thinking the safety and what’s better for the pack and such first.

Though he never asked for it. He never need it though I keep reminding him.

But now.

His head sure is messy and he’s trying to not make a mistake. Anger can make a bad results, he must have think he’s too angry to decide alone.

This is not my Alpha I was talking with, he’s still Aiden, in his right mind.

But in wrath.

“No, Aiden. Our pack won’t be jeopardize with the war because we’re ahead in number. We are not under the peace treaty either, and Elon had started a war. Though this will be bloody but our shifters will fight for their Luna. They will fight for you.”

He nodded and sighed. “I need every strong wolf to prepare in an hour. Let the pups in training to guard the territory, together with the females. We can’t lose many.”

“I’ll arrange it. But its not possible to lose some, Aiden.”

“This is war. Few lives will be sacrificed and what I can do is to limit its number. Though I doubt their pack could kill a lot of ours, I still can’t take the risk.”

I nodded. We’re ahead in numbers. And this is war, some will be wounded or die. But that’s how life of a werewolf works.

A few knock on the door interrupted us. Aiden nodded at me which indicates that I’ll let in whoever it is.

Zynia starts ourside and Zeke was standing behind him when I opened the door.

“May we speak with Alpha Aiden?” Zynia said.

‘Let them in.’ Aiden permits inside my head so I widened the door and let them both enter the office.

“You may sit.” Aiden said.

Zynia sat on a chair but Zeke kept standing so I stood where I could see the three of them.

“I’m sorry to interrupt but I can tell that you’ll start a war with Ravenous pack. Am I right, Alpha Aiden?” Zynia started.

Aiden knotted his forehead but nodded his head. “I will.” he said shortly.

“Well, I hope we could help. My son have some information that may be of use, Alpha Aiden.”

I looked at Zeke and he rolled his eyes, looking bored and irritated. I knew he hates how his mother still respect packs and such after what she had been through.

Aiden looked at Zeke, too. Watching him, no, waiting for him to speak. His eyes conveys that he can’t waste time to fool around with the rogue and I can tell that Zeke felt that because his jaw clenched, and he stood straight.

“If you will start a war, go and ask for help with other packs because you are outnumbered.”

My jaw dropped from what he said. I thought he’ll add some helpful data but I think he is spouting nonsense that I almost laugh.

I thought Aiden will shut him off but he kept watching Zeke with a serious face. He was attentive, listening, looking forward for what he will hear next.

Does he consider Zeke’s words?

As if the rogue understood that Aiden wanted to hear him out, he looked alive and engrossed.

“How many of yours will fight?”
