Call me Alpha (Aiden and Ashira) novel Chapter 50

Chapter 50: Time Apart

Aiden’s POV

I can feel the process of losing my shit every fucking minute.

My wolf howls and cries inside me and I kept controlling my mind in order to stop joining him. Though I’m dying. Inside, I’m burning with a heat that is not from a haze but with immediate immobilization and death.

‘Get my mate baaack!!!’

‘Shut up! Shut the fuck up!’

‘I’ll kill that old man, I’ll kill anyone who’ll get in our way. Get her back!’

We could. That’s possible. I’m not scared of dying, I never was. I want her back, I need to save her. I got to save Ashira.

I ran my fingers through my hair. I’ve been in our bedroom, waiting, thinking, what am I doing here? I should save her.

‘Let’s go now.’

Yeah, yeah, you’re right. I need to move now. I’ll attack him and kill him. That’s easy. I can win over Elon, I’m stronger.

NO!

‘LISTEN TO ME!’

‘NO!’

This is not a joke. Yes, I could attack with my pack but I’m risking a lot of lives against the enemy. And if I was killed, there’s no hope on saving Ashira, at all.

No, Elon won’t kill her. He’ll want her alive or else he holds nothing against me. I can still fell our bond though I couldn’t reach her.

She’s alive. And that is what matters.

‘What if he’s hurting her?!’ my wolf is getting angry, more as hours passes. But who doesn’t? I am too. I do, too. But I need to think, calm and clear my head.

For now, I need to trust Ashira. Our connection is beyond the mate bond, she won’t be stolen as quick as Elon would want to.

“Where’s Jacob?” I asked Nick as I look at the screen where the two Alpha looked back to me with hardened expression.

“He got business to attend but he’s nearby. He already know and agreed alliance with us. He’ll be here at dawn and he called to his pack, Shadow pack’s army will arrive tomorrow evening.”

I nodded.

“I’m sorry to disturb your evening, David, Aros.” They nodded but didn’t speak. They are letting me talk and that’s what I need right now. “I don’t have much time and I ask for this meeting to confirm your alliance with my pack. My mate was taken by Elon, she’s carrying our pup but she’s not aware of it yet.” I sighed when my body trembled with the thought.

I don’t know how far the pup can protect Ashira like how Zynia said, but what I feared was for both their life to be harmed once Elon found out about it.

I shook my head, trying to concentrate.

“I need more troops to fight against Ravenous and I need it fast. Can I rely to the both of you?”

“Regal pack is always on your side.” David confirmed.

“Trivian sides with the good pack. I’m with you. But Ravenous is a small pack, their shifters are half of yours. Less, based on the reports. Why do you need more army to fight?” Aros asked.

“Elon made a pact with some rogues at the Valley, and some from the North. He was doing these illegal activities behind us, preparing for this day so he could start a war against my pack.”

“Bloody hell.” David groaned.

“That sly! Where is the high council in times like this? This is a direct serious breakage of the rules.”

“We know we can’t rely on the high council alone, so I’m asking for your help, lend me the strength I needed to win this war.”

Both of them nodded.

“How many are your experienced soldiers, David?”

“The veterans on my pack is around two-hundred, and one-hundred improved fighters. The rest are beginners but they went under special training, almost a hundred, too.”

“I only need the best of yours. I can’t risk lives of innocent wolves and ruin the future of your packs.”

“I understand. I’ll lend two-hundred and fifty army.” he answered with a nod.

“When can I expect your arrival?”

“Tomorrow. Evening.”

Regal pack is just twelve hours away by vehicle and due to the time he gave, I’m guessing he’s not letting his pack run on their wolf form. That would decrease the time by half if they will. And that’s a good idea than to exhaust them before a fight.

I nodded at him and turned to Aros.

“How about you, Aros?”

“Since that’s how you’d like this to operate, I got three-hundred veterans but expect us the day after tomorrow, at dawn.”

Trivian pack is the farthest pack from the Prime.

“Or you could meet us at Ravenous.”

But they are the nearest pack to Elon. A six hours ride, at most.

He nodded. “When are you planning the attack?”

I closed my eyes and inhaled, filling my lungs with air, trying to straighten my head. I can’t make a mistake. I should not.

I opened my eyes, feeling that everything was placed in the right tracks.

“Tomorrow, when the moon has fully risen, we will start the attack.”

The both of them nodded, probably feeling the need to attack soon, too.

“Thank you for this cooperation-”

“Thank us once its done.” David cut me off with a small smile.

“Hang on, brother. We’ll win this then you’ll let me kick your ass.” Aros joked and I just smiled. We are of the same age, known each other since we’re a pup but since his distance is far, we often bond unlike Jacob and I.

The conference has ended when the screen has turned off.

“You didn’t tell them that Ash was a stealer, Aiden.” Nick said as I sat on my chair.
