Captive Hearts: The Tycoon's Ugly Bride novel Chapter 96

Chapter 96 He Called Me a Pig

Tea was brewed with boiling water. Blanche reached for the tea. Then, she was accidentally scalded by the hot water.

"Ah." Blanche immediately withdrew her hand.

Seeing this scene, Logan immediately snapped.

"Why are you as stupid as a pig? How can you not know how to make tea? Hurry up and bring it over."

Blanche paused for a moment. Suddenly, she looked over toward Logan. Her eyes suddenly blazed with anger. How dare that tattooed guy call her stupid as a pig?

"What are you looking at? Bitch, hurry up and bring me my tea!"

Sam moved closer to Louis and offered, "He's looking for death. I'll wash his mouth out with soap."

Louis frowned and glanced at Blanche, who was holding back her anger. Then, he shook his head.

"Let's see."

"Why haven't you brought the tea? Are you deaf?"

Blanche felt like she was going to be furious. She had been verbally humiliated and physically assaulted. As a waitress, she didn't mess with anyone. She'd done a lot of part-time jobs. This was the first time she'd seen such an unreasonable customer.

Blanche took a breath, brought the tea over, placed it in front of Logan, and turned to leave.

After all, Blanche had to be more patient, or her plan would be messed up. She held back her anger for the sake of her good friend. In particular, it was taboo for waiters to disobey guests in the service industry. If she talked back, Logan would ask her manager to come over, and Erin would probably be fired.

So she would consider Logan a fool. It was not worthwhile for her to dispute with him.

Blanche had just left moments before she heard a clunk from behind her. The teacup fell to the floor and broke in half.

"What the hell are you doing? The water is so hot. Hurry up and pour me another cup of tea. The water has to be the right temperature."

Blanche turned her head and looked askance at Logan with her big eyes. She thought, 'What's wrong with this guy? Why does he keep targeting me? Did I dig up his mum's grave?'

"Okay. I'll pour another cup of tea." Blanche tried to force a smile.

She did it for her endearing friendship with Erin. She was touched by the thought that Erin had once broken half of her only bun for her when she was out of food. Forget it! She'd just put up with the fool one more time.

Blanche then put a cup of tea in front of Logan. She purposely took a fan to fan the tea to cool it down. And she kept a smile on her face.

"The tea is not hot anymore. Please enjoy it, sir."

Then Blanche left again. She was helpless. She thought, 'Erin is such a silly girl! She insisted on supporting her family by herself, but she refused to accept the money I gave her as her friend.'

Blanche had earned some money over the years from her jewelry design. Although she didn't become rich, she had enough money to live on.

"Hmph! Waiters can't do anything these days. I really don't know why restaurants hire people like you. If this girl were in my company, she'd only be able to clean toilets."

Blanche felt speechless. She thought, 'Why does he keep cursing me?'

Blanche wondered why she had such a good temper tonight. She stood aside. And her eyes kept darting from side to side. She didn't take Logan's words seriously. And she would consider the tattooed man an arsehole.

"Mr. Larson, you're funny. Anyway, she's a human being. How can you say she looks like a pig?" Henry snapped.

Blanche was confused.

Blanche hadn't wanted to bother Logan at all. However, why did Henry suddenly intervene? As Louis' elder brother, Henry actually added fuel to the fire.

"Haha! What is she if she's not a pig? I think she's even worse than a pig."

Seeing the tattooed man laughing more and more arrogantly, Blanche clenched her fingers tightly. It seemed like she couldn't hold back any longer.

Then, Logan looked at Blanche again. He had an arrogant look on his face and glared at Blanche.

"By the way, what's your name? Your service is terrible. I'm going to make a complaint to your manager."

She thought, 'To make a complaint? Fine. He's going to screw up Erin's job after all.' So she decided not to remain silent.

Blanche thought that after she went out later, she would buy off the manager to stop him from firing Erin. After all, everyone liked money. Otherwise, she didn't believe she'd not be able to smooth things over.

"I'm asking you what your name is. Just give me your name."

"Fuck you!" Blanche said as she took a few quick steps, picked up the teacup in front of Logan, and splashed it on Logan's fat face.

The drops of water ran down Logan's chin. Logan looked miserable, but he froze.

Blanche was still upset and repeated her words.

"Fuck you! I don't care if you like to eat or drink it or not. Since you're going to file a complaint, go ahead and do it. I won't even frown."

Blanche headed for the door. She turned back after a few steps.

"If I were a pig, you'd be a self-righteous piglet. You're the piglet who doesn't have a mother to look after him."
