Caught in Love With My Previous CEO novel Chapter 37

Chapter 37 Late Night First Aid

When Walter saw Tina's face clearly, he regretted his unscrupulous words, but facing her cold face, he could never say soft words, and what he could do was just to keep his face sullen and pretend to be tough, openning the door forcefully.

Tina was pushed by the open door and staggered back two steps.

Walter's eyes flickered, but he didn't care about her, and slammed the door hard again.

As soon as he went out, Tina quickly locked the lock with her backhand, and then leaned weakly on the door panel.

She wanted to get angry, but there was nowhere to get angry, and she couldn't even find a reason to get angry. There was a purpose in following Walter, and it was her own fault to be humiliated.

The room was empty, and there was no point in staying any longer. It might as well go back and make a phone call.

She calmed down, pulled out her room card, went downstairs to the front desk, and when she reached the corner, she heard a conversation not far away.

"You've been too busy recently. Y ou should take a good rest today."

"Mr. Louis, here is your room card."

"Thank you, baby."

The tone was familiar. Tina stopped in an instant, only froze for a moment, almost instinctively turned around and ran back.

Without looking, she was sure it was Louis who had just spoken.

It's the outskirts of Beijing and the clubhouse. If Louis knew she was here, he might come over in the middle of the night and take her away.

Tina quickly returned to the room, her chest heaving violently. She leaned against the door panel for a long time before recovering.

She could't go out casually. Either she waited until it got dark, and then checked out quietly, or didn't check out at all, just left the room card and left.

After confirming the plan, there was still a long time before it got dark, so she could only sit in the room and wait.

She didn't eat in the morning, and at noon. While sitting down suddenly, her hunger surged like a mountain.

Fortunately, there was still water and snacks in the room. She stuffed them into her mouth like a starving ghost, and ate a bunch to feel better.

As night fell, there were footsteps outside the door, and it was the waiter who asked if she wanted to order food as usual.

Tina was vigilant, didn't even open the door, and said through the door that she didn't need it, and it was like that until nine o'clock again.

It was really late at night this time, and there were few people walking in the garden.

Tina put on her coat and mask, and meant to open the door.

As soon as she put her hand on the doorknob, someone outside suddenly knocked violently on the door.

"Tina! Are you there?!"

Caitlyn?

Tina frowned slightly, opened the door impatiently, and met Caitlyn's warm and pale face.

"What's wrong?"
