Chapter 93 Deliver Meals to Mr. Langford
After staying in the hospital overnight, Tina went through the discharge procedures early in the morning. The doctor had some pity on her. "Young people like you from outside the city are so hardworking. What's good about Xesxia? Elites like you are much more popular working in your hometown than here."
Tina smiled wryly and thought, "I want to leave, but the tyrant in Xesxia won't let me go."
Dragging her injured foot, she got her medicine and then went downstairs to return to the company. As soon as she left the hospital, her phone rang.
Tina saw that it was a strange number and answered the phone with caution.
"Is that Miss Lynd?"
Tina paused for a moment and said, "Is that... Butler Lincoln?"
"Yes, it's me."
A kind voice came from the other end of the phone. Tina heaved a sigh of relief while her heart fluttered.
"What are you calling for?"
"Is it convenient for you to deliver meals to Mr. Langford today?" Butler Lincoln asked.
Tina thought in confusion, "Yesterday I happened to be at the Langford's place. But don't they have a person deliver meals to Mr. Langford today?"
"Mr. Langford has been in a bad mood these days. He basically doesn't eat the meals delivered by others," Butler Lincoln explained.
Tina rolled her eyes and said, "He'll be fine when he's starved."
Butler Lincoln said, "That's a good idea, but I work for the Langford family."
Tina thought to herself, "You work for them, and I don't."
"The deal I mentioned yesterday is still valid. You still owe over 100,000 dollars. I'll give you a discount if you delivered meals for six days."
Butler Lincoln had a generous laugh, as if Tina had taken a big advantage. That fully reflected the overconfidence of the Langford family.
Tina couldn't refuse. "I'm in the hospital right now. I'm afraid I'm not available."
"It's okay. When it's time, I'll send someone to pick you up," Butler Lincoln continued with a smile.
Tina glanced at the time on her phone and reluctantly agreed, "Okay."
As soon as she finished speaking, Butler Lincoln hung up on the phone, as if he was afraid of her turning back.
"If Samuel sees my face, he will probably say I've offended his eyes."
