In a moment of boldness, she shed every article of clothing and dropped to her knees in what could only be described as a compromising position.

"Felix, look at me," she pleaded, her voice laced with desperation. "Why bother bringing Carol back? She's just going to be a third wheel. Look at me, Felix. Whatever she can do, I can do too."

"Call her," he insisted.

When he dialed her number, she wouldn't pick up.

Listina, who was completely bare, was incensed to see that Felix remained unmoved, not even sparing her a glance. The outrage boiled within her.
