Skylar immediately smelled a strong scent of smoke when she entered the room. Tobias held a cigarette between his fingers, and the room was filled with an incredible amount of smoke. Skylar looked at his tall and sturdy figure. It's always like this. I feel a sense of unfamiliarity when we haven't seen each other for a day.
She asked, “How many cigarettes have you smoked? The room is filled with so much smoke. I'm afraid I'll get lung cancer from your secondhand smoke.”
Tobias walked to the window and opened it to air the smoke. Just when Skylar wanted to take off her coat, Tobias stopped her and stated, “Close the window before removing your coat. Why are you here? You didn't even let me know in advance.”
Skylar replied, “I wanted to surprise you. Well, it didn't go well. I failed to surprise you but also caused you trouble.”
Tobias tucked the loose strands of Skylar's hair behind her ear. “Don't say that. You didn't cause me any trouble. I was just worried that you'll be tired from traveling all the way here. It's about one in the morning now.”
Skylar began to feel lethargic after he said that. She wrapped her arms around Tobias' waist tightly like a koala.
“It's not tiring for me. I have an audition tomorrow morning, and I have to go back in the afternoon. I thought I'd drop by to see you.”
Skylar's honesty somewhat disappointed Tobias. He assumed Skylar had come specifically to see him, but he thought too much. Skylar was merely passing by.
Tobias leaned down to kiss her neck, softly nibbling on it. He muttered, “So you didn't come all the way to see me. I thought you couldn't be away from me for more than a day.”
Skylar felt something press against her thighs, and Tobias' hand had already slipped into her pants.
“You should leave something behind since you came to see me. Are you tired?”
