Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1048

His hand slid onto Estelle's slender waist, ready to give her a deep kiss, but Estelle suddenly backed off. Her eyes were back to being cold and distant, with a hint of caution. "No, I don’t need it!"

After saying that, Estelle quickly walked away as if there was something scarier than a fierce dog behind her.

Jonathan watched the young girl's retreating figure. He leaned on the door frame in frustration, his hand on his forehead, and let out a soft sigh.

There was no anger in his eyes, only a bit of helplessness and a lot of heartache for her.

The things Estelle said in her daze last night were deeply seared in his heart. Maybe he would spend the rest of his life trying to make up for it.

His phone on the coffee table suddenly lit up. Someone was calling him.

His phone had been on silent for the past two days. He didn't answer any calls, and was taking care of her wholeheartedly.

What an ungrateful little girl!

Jonathan got up to pick up his phone, sat on the sofa, and answered the call, "What's up?"

The caller was Millard. "Mr. Lamont, Mr. Kress, Gwen, and Clarice left Blue Oasis one after another yesterday afternoon. Gwen was the last to leave. She didn't look so good, but there has been no movement so far."

Jonathan nodded slightly, "Keep an eye on them."

"Yes, sir!" Millard responded, "Also, I have something belonging to Ms. Macclain. Should I return it to you or deliver it to Ms. Macclain?"

"What is it?" Jonathan asked.

Millard said, "A gun."

Although it was a gun, it wasn't a real one.

Jonathan's eyes narrowed slightly, "Bring it to me."

"Yes, sir!"

Estelle hurriedly rushed downstairs.
