Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1049

Mr. Kress said the new actor hadn't arrived yet, asked him to wait for a bit, and even poured him a glass of wine.

He drove himself here, so he didn't drink, he just drank the water next to him. After that, he started to feel weak all over.

He was lying on the sofa, watching Gwen unlock his phone with his fingerprint. She sent a WhatsApp to Estelle. He was anxious but couldn't do anything about it.

He felt so stupid for dragging Estelle into this.

Estelle shook her head and chuckled, "Let's not talk about who's dragging who down. If we have to assign blame, it's me who's dragging you down. Get some rest, we'll talk tomorrow."

"Okay," Craig replied, then couldn't help but ask, "Estelle, are you really okay?"

"I'm fine!" Estelle hung up the phone, feeling a bit annoyed. She thought Jonathan could have taken her to the hospital to get her stomach pumped, but instead, he made it seem like she should be thanking him. What a joke!

After leaving the Royal Mansion, a Bentley was waiting outside the complex. The driver got out and respectfully said, "Ms. Macclain, Mr. Lamont asked me to drive you home."

"No need!" Estelle rejected him coldly, hailed a cab, and left.

The driver helplessly watched her get into the taxi and called Jonathan, "Mr. Lamont, Ms. Macclain didn't take my car. She left in a taxi."

Jonathan seemed to sigh softly, then said in a low voice, "Let her go."

Looks like he really pissed her off this time!

Estelle answered Emily's call in the taxi. Emily was terrified, "Estelle, where have you been? You're not at home, your phone's off, I was about to call the police!"

Estelle laughed lightly, "I'm fine, hurry up and tell the police not to bother."

"Where are you?" Emily asked.

"On my way home, I'll be there soon."

"You scared me to death!" Emily sighed with relief.
