Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1133

However, Charlie was dead focused on driving. His eyes glued to the road ahead as if he had no time to entertain her.

Silently, Emily wiped the sweat from her palm onto her pants.

They finally arrived at the neighbourhood where Elliott lived. Seeing that Charlie didn't move as she prepared to get out of the car, Emily had to speak up, "Mr. James, are you coming upstairs?"

Charlie, coldly looking at her through the rear-view mirror, replied, "Nah, you guys need to have a family talk. I'd be in the way. I'll wait for you here in the car."

"No need!" Emily shook her head, "I'll catch a cab later."

"Do as I said!" Charlie cut her off before she could finish, "Quit arguing with me!"

Emily shut up instantly, staring at the man's ruthless and indifferent eyes in the mirror, then bowed her head and got out of the car.

She and Elliott took Gina upstairs together.

Gina had been living in Elliott's new house since she retired.

Since Elliott was about to get married, the house was decorated with joyous decorations. This was Emily's first time here. To her, it was unfamiliar.

After the old house was sold, she no longer had a home.

Elliott explained, "Bonnie wanted to take leave and come with me to pick up mom, but something came up at her company."

Gina immediately said, "That's alright. Bonnie's work is more important."

Ever since Emily returned, she had only seen Bonnie twice. She found Bonnie to be a pleasant girl.

Elliott enthusiastically said, "Emily, you don't have to go to the hospital anymore. You and Kya can move back in. Mom can help you take care of Kya."
