Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1172

After finishing the statement, Estelle could go home first while waiting for Yulia to completely wake up and explain what had happened.

Millard had been waiting outside. Once Estelle got in the car, she apologized, saying, "I'm really sorry for dragging you into all this."

Jonathan coldly chuckled, "When he was covering up your identity for you, wasn't he your accomplice? What's there to apologize for?"

Estelle was taken aback, and recalling what had happened before, she felt even more guilty towards Millard. "You didn't punish Millard afterwards, did you?"

"No!" Millard immediately responded, "Mr. Lamont let me off the hook and didn't punish me severely."

From his words, Estelle could tell what was going on, and she felt even more uneasy. "I'm really sorry!"

"Mrs. Lamont, you're too polite. No need to apologize!"

Upon hearing his address, Estelle's expression changed. Before she could say anything, Jonathan sarcastically said,

"Aren't you supposed to apologize to me instead?"

"For what? For not having Millard file for divorce back then?" Estelle retorted.

Jonathan was stunned. When put this way, he should be thanking Millard instead!

Seeing Jonathan's dumbfounded expression, Millard, who usually had a poker face, couldn't help but smirk. Fearing Jonathan might notice, he quickly wiped the smile off his face and focused on driving.

Jonathan turned to Estelle and said, "Let's go to the Royal Mansion!"

Estelle shook her head and said, "No, to Sunset Ridge."

Knowing that she was hurt, Jonathan could only yield to her.

He also understood that he couldn't rush things with Estelle; there was plenty of time after all.

Once they arrived at Sunset Ridge, Estelle thanked Millard before getting out of the car. Jonathan grabbed her wrist and said, "I was nearly scared to death; aren't you going to thank me?"
