Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1230

People's opinions varied, but none dared to look Jonathan in the eye. Instead, they pretended to be carefree, chatting and drinking as before.

The atmosphere seemed to liven up again.

Estelle quietly concentrated on her meal, ignoring any prying eyes.

Jonathan chatted with others, occasionally serving Estelle dishes she liked when they were in front of him.

Seeing that her soup was finished, he added another bowl for her.

Half an hour later, Estelle put down her utensils.

Jonathan turned his eyes to her, his face expressionless, and asked, "All full?"

Estelle nodded.

"Then let's get you home. Millard's downstairs; he'll take you," Jonathan said.

Estelle knew there was no need for her to stay any longer and nodded, "Thank you."

Jonathan bowed his head, coldly responding with a "hmm".

Estelle got up and left without saying goodbye to anyone.

Once Jonathan and Estelle spoke, the room went quiet, with everyone watching as Estelle left.

Once Estelle was out of sight, Jonathan pulled out a cigarette. Four or five people stood up to light it for him. Jonathan pulled out a lighter, lit his own cigarette, and then looked up at David.

Jonathan's expressionless face sent chills down David's spine.

He picked up his glass, walked over to Jonathan, bent over, sweat dripping from his face, and said, "Mr. Lamont, I didn't know Estelle was a friend of yours; I was clueless; please forgive me."

Jonathan lightly tapped off the ash, the smoke veiling his handsome face and making it hard to read his expression.

The room fell silent.

He turned to David and said, "Come closer."

David was taken aback but quickly stepped forward, "Mr. Lamont."

Before he could finish his sentence, Jonathan kicked him, sending him stumbling backwards into a wall. He clutched his stomach in pain, his face pale, unable to make a sound.

Women screamed, quickly covering their mouths, looking horrified at the man sitting at the head of the table.

Jonathan looked around and asked, "Who else was pouring drinks for Estelle?"
