Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1231

Director Sun nervously asked, "Who on earth is Estelle? How could I not know that she's tight with Mr. Lamont?"

"Regardless of whether she knows Mr. Lamont or not, you've crossed the line today. At the very least, she's my production designer, and you handed her over to David. Did you even consider my feelings?" Mr. Tucker seriously questioned.

With an embarrassed look on his face, Director Sun whispered, "I had no choice.”

Mr. Tucker scoffed, "I know David is backing your new film, but we're in the film industry, and we should always put our principles first. After this, let's not keep in touch.”

After saying this, Mr. Tucker left with a stern look on his face.

Director Sun was left puzzled, wondering what on earth just happened!

Meanwhile, Estelle was sitting in Millard's car. She hadn't drunk much and was still very lucid.

As they approached Sunset Ridge, Millard started speaking: "Estelle, Mr. Lamont has been attending a lot of social events lately, often drinking till the wee hours. If you have the time, maybe you could have a word with him."

A thoughtful look flashed in Estelle's eyes. She said quietly, "You know better than anyone about the state of my marriage with Jonathan. Please don't bring this up again."

Millard replied, "Do you remember our agreement at the coffee shop? I keep your secret, and you promised never to hurt Mr. Lamont."

Frowning, Estelle whispered, "I didn't hurt him."

Millard glanced at her and said, "Since you had the courage to approach Mr. Lamont in the first place, please keep that courage up, alright?"

Estelle didn’t reply and just looked out the car window.

Millard didn’t press her further and parked the car downstairs. He said respectfully, "Goodbye, Estelle."

"Thank you for the ride." Estelle thanked him and got out of the car.

After walking a few steps, she seemed to remember something and looked back subconsciously. Millard's car was already turning around to leave. She turned and headed upstairs.

Instead of going back to her own house, she walked towards the opposite door.

During this period, she had gotten used to chatting with Dragon every day.

As soon as she got close, Dragon popped out, "Hey, Estelle!"

Estelle sat on the window sill and asked with a smile, "Did you go chasing her again today?"

Dragon blushed. "I gave her a bouquet of flowers today!"
