Find Me In Your Labyrinth novel Chapter 1304

Emily didn't say another word; she was too focused on blow-drying his hair.

Between the two of them, one standing and one sitting, all Charlie had to do was turn his head slightly to come into contact with Emily. He was tense, trying to keep his cool in case she said something that would tick him off.

Before long, Charlie's hair was dry. Emily switched off the hairdryer, wound up the cord, and asked uncertainly, "Are you sure you want to sleep in the master bedroom? Kya tosses and turns a lot in her sleep; she might kick you; it might not be comfortable for you."

"I wouldn't be able to sleep well in the guest room either." The man said it impatiently.

So why was he sticking around?

However, Emily only dared to ask this question in her heart. She nodded. "You go to sleep; I'm going to take a shower."

Charlie headed for the master bedroom with a poker face. Before he walked in, he glanced back at her and said, "Don't forget to say goodnight."

He really did treat her like a maid!

After Emily had taken her shower, she remembered Charlie's instructions and went to the master bedroom to say goodnight before heading to her own room.

The bedside lamp was still on, and Charlie was lying on his side in bed with Kya in his arms. If she didn't think about his previous cold words, this was indeed a heartwarming scene.

Emily walked over to turn off the bedside lamp, and the room instantly plunged into darkness; only the moonlight remained.

She wasn't sure if Charlie was asleep already, so she whispered, "Goodnight."

Charlie responded with a hum; his eyes were closed.

Emily raised an eyebrow slightly, turned around, and walked out of the room. After a few steps, she looked back, unsure. Charlie had never taken care of a child before; could the two of them really get along peacefully at night?

Charlie slightly turned his head to look at her; his tone was a bit ambiguous in the dark: "Don't want to leave? Want to sleep here with us?"

Emily was startled and quickly turned around to leave, closing the door behind her as she went.
